Brief informational video regarding the oil metering pump injector location. I had a hard time finding info as to where they were.
Remove the intake, throttle body, intake manifold, and metal cover plate to expose the injectors. It's a good idea to check they are operating correctly. Preventing premature wear and a possible vacuum Leak.

Nice... and good to inform that the Fuel insulator (plastic piece where the injector are connected to) is very brittle... so be careful...

What would it mean to you if you had found oil around the oil injector area? Would it mean.., its time for an new engine? So, i got to the oil injectors and the two that are closest to the transmission are covered with oil residue. It looks wet. Your injectors are all clean and dry. No oil. I want mine like that LoL

No sorry, it was pretty easy. Only tricky part us getting the actual adapter in. Have since sold the rotary and I'm now doing a k swap. Check out the recent videos

Hello, do you need to remove something more than the metal plate you mentioned other than the full UIM ? [edit] For the ones wondering : There are 4 bolts that seems to be M8 with 12mm heads (one is hidden by the wiring harness). I still need to find a way to get it out, but that might do the trick to just push it aside.

maybe a dumb question but do the vaccum lines for the oil injectors run to the solenoids on the UIM? if not could you maybe tell me where they are run to? i cant find a diagram

Yes they do, ther might not be a diagram but maybe some pictures online
