Alguien tiene idea porque en manos libres porque hizo esa rutina tan básica y sin dificultad, pense que era su rutina de obligatorios, pero al parecer es con la que compitio en all around
I wonder how many people who watched this ACTUALLY REALIZE -THIS Floor routine was the----COMPULSORY floor routine required of ALL men AT that olympics-- it is NOT his optional routine! The mastery, perfect body positions and what is called AMPLITUDE of skill( skills -even simpler skill -- performed to their HIGHEST LEVEL----eg-- starting his full twist at a CERTAIN point in the air and ENDING it at a CERTAIN DEGREE in the air!)--- ALL of this routine was just superb! Just the compulsory FX makes SO MANY mens floor routines that are PERFORMED TODAY---- look like they have NO artistry and amplitude and just "throw a skill and stick it"--- the MASTERY and ability to SHOW how you are in TOTAL CONTROL OF YOUR SKILLS and you can ADD in an artistic QUALITY OF execution is SO LACKING TODAY-- mens routines NOW have taken on a CIRCUS like show and no QUALITY OF MOVEMENT!
His technique and artistry are amazing! Always been my favorite. As for starting the full, he initiates the twist as he leves the ground and finishes about vertical (when he was upside down). During these compuslory exercises both the men and women often keep their arms straight which looks nice. I've seen people like Oksana Chusovitina actually layout then initiate the twist much later than Scherbo did which is pretty cool too.
Michael Phelps's Beijing 2008 achivement can he eclipsed if someone was to win 8 Golds in Artistic Gymnastics in one olympics cos that means 7 solo golds instead of 5 & no one has ever won more than 5 solo golds in one olympics. If you put in extra commitment & consistency you could compete in the Individual Trampoline event at the same games so making it 9 golds (8 solo) in one Olympics.
