These types of routines are infinitely better than what we see today. There is variety, good composition, artistry and other elements that are totally lacking today in men's floor exercise. Now there are routines without double saltos and even without flic-flacs because all they want to do is get points by tumbling fast and furious. They omit anything that doesn't bring them points. There are too many twisting saltos. There is no longer any fluidity. I miss the old routines that Scherbo, Misutin, Nemov and the rest used to do. I used to love men's floor exercise, now I don't enjoy watching it, unfortunately.
