**PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ERRORS:** 1) When I said NADP is generated in the pentose phosphate pathway, I meant to say "NADPH" is generated in the pentose phosphate pathway. 2) Pellagra is a condition CAUSED BY NIACIN DEFICIENCY, not necessarily another term for Niacin deficiency ***Sorry for the confusion***

Should also mention that saying "vegan diet" as a blanket term is incredibly thick-headed, and only serves to further the stereotype that a vegan diet is nutritionally inadequate, whereas those of us who have done our homework know better 😉 Edit: Just caught that you at least added a caveat to your statement. WFPB diets can lead to optimal nutrition when done properly, and we're still waiting for the inevitable death rattle of the keto/carnivore camp. The age of bro science is slowly coming to an end.

@@glodusmuspell9069 its all depends for what you need, for high blood pressure 500mg,depression ,bipolar,esquizofrenia can be from 1000mg to even higher then 2000mg

I read an article about CoQ10 can treat bipolar in 90 % to 100% of the time. Doses of 200mg and up. Seizure that dont respond well with treatment could be a B6 dependent dose. If your health issues NOT caused by parasites, then for sure can be some type of deficiency or many deficiencies ( parasites can also cause deficiency). Be your own Dr, investigate your issues...if it is deficiency, investigate the cause of the deficiency ( dont treat just the deficiency only).

Yes that’s true - I have major depression with psychosis and I am taking 1000mg niacin per day night time and my psychosis improved so much, almost no symptoms: I am reading “Niacin the real story” by doctor Hoffer , Dr Saul and dr Foster. I tried to say to my psychiatrist but he doesn’t believe in it. Always is good to do blood work and check with the family Doctor everything.

I got dermatitis in my hand n food due to sun light sensitivity. I go to doctor but she didnt tell about B3 deficiency. From RU-vid channel (dr. Eric Berg and others), I got to know that I need Niacin. I bought Niacin from online shop (Tokopedia), and fantastically, I get recovered from dermatitis.

Most symptoms are identical to Schizophrenia, even some schizophrenic patients does not flush even after taking 5,000 mg daily of Niacin (Nicotinic Acid).
@KBB-nf1dr
@KBB-nf1dr Месяц назад
No one should be taking Nicotinic Acid it’s Synthetic coal tar, the reason people are deficient in these B vitamins is because when they are subjected to the synthetic form, like in fortified foods or these fake vitamins, it damages the receptor, and they cannot absorb the real B vitamin If you want to supplement you’d be better off, taking tryptophan or Niacinimide Nicotinamide with equal dosages of TMG Avoid Nicotinic Acid & Niacin like the plague & ALL Fortified foods

😎💖 Just share a few pellagra tutorials with her, maybe watch it together. But I would do it in a friendly way, like sharing something really interesting. Some videos show the pictures and she might recognize her condition by watching. Works better then talking about it. Some folks just don't like to be told what to do, so showing the evidence has better results. Let her do the thinking without pointing out the obvious to your friend. Add some niacin rich foods to snack on, and she will remember.

Interesting video! yes legumes also contribute to our good health as legumes provide vitamins, minerals and legumes ocxigenate the blood given a lot of energy to people. I consume legumes 5 times per week. I keep slim and I do have so much energy just like a young person¿ we are what we eat so this is why I have a natural food! No sugar, not frying food, no proced food and no sugary drinks, just water and home made food. You can make a pot of legumes that will last 4 days without been frozen and warm up in the cooker no in the microwave.

@cosmichealth3907
@cosmichealth3907 2 года назад
Dose could be one of the reason.. Hypo people may havee compromised liver and niacin not getting metabolised does not cause flush...higher dose may be needed
@rosyc9250
@rosyc9250 2 года назад
Low omega 3 can induce an inflammatory response that can lead to autoimmune diseases such as hypothyroidism. Omega 3 will decrease the threshold for niacin flush.

Tryptophan makes quinolinic acid which makes nad. Tryptophan does not make niacin. And let me add by saying why this is important. It’s because isoniazid inhibit the production of b3 via the tryptophan pathway. That is why you can supplement the patient with niacin because they’re two different pathways.
@yorkierussell9255
@yorkierussell9255 Год назад
He was just saying that tryptophan makes NAD, which is true. There may be intermediate steps to get to NAD, but the most important thing to know is that tryptophan is used to make NAD. The other details in the pathway in the middle aren’t important. What you said in the 2nd paragraph is correct, but isoniazid inhibiting B3 production via the tryptophan pathway has nothing to do with the unimportant detail of knowing the intermediate steps. You can learn that if you want just for “fun”, but it’s not important. Focus on the big picture.

Vegan diets are not innately an issue if properly balanced and centered around eating whole foods . Malnutrition is the issue because you can eat an inadequate omnivorous diet and run into a B3 deficiency. I think isolating certain vegan diets creates a sense that this diet is more prone to this deficiency when the matter at hand is just poor nutrient intake of niacin. Furthermore if one is eating a variety of grains, legumes and fruit then they should be able to easily meet their needs even with men who have a slightly higher RDA of 16 mg/day.

In my B50 complex there is 50 mg of niacinamide. Is it okay to take it everyday? Is 50 mg niacinamide too much?

Yes, you can easily even take 2000 miligrams. My friend is taking 2500 for her acne and it’s gone she just takes it now to keep it at bay. It’s very safe, you’ll throw up before you ever get to poisoning levels

Depends on condition you are using. Naicinamide does not work on lipids...does not cause flush For skin the best form is free niacin...flush means vasodilation ,which improves skin..improves l lipid levels
