I hate the grinding sound in a blender so I bought vitamin c powder off amazon for about ten bucks. Works great for me. I'm 90 percent done with removing AF Transylvania and Wrath colors from my hair and have hope that another treatment or two will get the stubborn patches back to a blonde so I can go for my next color

Fun fact, they sell vitamin c tabs at the dollar tree. The only color remover that fried my hair was the baking soda method... and it didn't even work.

thank you so much for sharing these color fading/removing videos!! I just did a baking soda treatment to fade some pastel/neon rainbow colors and it did great on the pink and orange but not so much on the yellow, green, and blue. I think I’ll try vitamin c next and see how that goes. Crazy Colors and Iroiro have some serious staying power!

You really need to try the Malibu C shampoo and conditioner, trust me the color comes out!!

Looks amazing!! I was going to suggest looking for extra strength vitamin c capsules (I got mine at Walmart) , you just cut and pour the powder out instead of having to crush it. So much easier, and I think it’s more potent .

The first time I ever did Vit C treatment in burned my scalp so I never did it again. After watching your videos I decided to try it again with a little coconut oil on my scalp and it WORKS SO WELL. Thanks so much for showing this method so many times, it really encouraged me to try it again & I don't have to bleach my hair to change colors anymore.

i had a split dye and half of my hair faded out to that pastel pink like after your second round. i dyed it neon green on top but it turned out perfectly, both sides are the same color (i used toxic uv by crazy color)

I am a somewhat new subscriber and have learned so much from you. I did the vitamin c treatment yesterday for the first time. Word of advice for anyone who may try it, try to keep any suds away from your ears. Some got into mine by accident and now my ear is crusted with blood. 🤦 It did work though and my purple hair almost looks pink now.

I have always wanted bold hair colors like purple and burgandy but was able to achieve the colors I wanted at a salon with permanent color not to mention it would fade after 4 weeks. On your suggestion I used iroiro and it colored my gray roots an awesome Purple! My question is what will a vitamen C treatment do to gray hair to strip the purple rain/Transylvania I have on the previous permanent brown dye section. By "ascorbic acid" from health food stores or Amazon. It's pure vitamin C and comes pre-powdered and is cheaper!

Newish subscriber sk Id not seen the Vitamin C mehhod before. Seriously intrigued since Im stilm trying to ditch years of permanent dark auburn. Ive sl far managed to lighten it to orange.... not the goal. So Vitamin C and I may be getting friendly, later. Btw you look lovely with that silvery tone platinum color. Not many people can pull that off with skintone, but your skin just glows with it.

I've heard people say that the Hair, Skin, and Nail vitamins don't work, but I take 3 Hair, Skin, and Nail tablets every day, and there's always a visible change! In the past when I've missed a few days, there's always a noticeable slow in my hair and nail growth. I've been taking them for years and rn, on average, my hair grows almost an inch a month! Without them, it grows maybe half an inch? So around twice as fast with the vitamins!! I specifically take the "Hair, Skin, and Nail" TABLETS, the gummies don't do anything tbh...

I’m watching you be a queen meanwhile my hair will not turn out red I want fire engine red and my hair has been blood red ( too dark) then red magenta ( thanks iroiro red 🤦🏼‍♀️) I ordered hi color highlights in red because I’m at my wits end 🤣 The vitamin c method works for me but there have been a few times where the crushed vitamin c touched my ears or neck and it sat there and due to the acidic nature my skin would peel

I’m confused and not sure if I missed it in the video. You uploaded 3 days ago a video dyeing your hair. How long between then and this video before you faded it? :)

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide with dawn worked but it turned my hair pinkish orange. Trying this now to see if the pink is removed. I had transylvania from Arctic Fox and some how it turned orange pink!

What type of hearing pad do I need to use for the vitamin c treatment ?And where can I get one at ?

I've been doing this lately (but with ascorbic acid which is pure vitamin c) on my virgin hair that's got some red color bomb on it and it's being really stubborn. I have been growing my hair out after bleaching and dying it for most of my life and now it's basically all virgin and my natural color. So to have my cake and eat it I've been instead of dying it by just putting color bomb/mask on it. But I'm thinking since it's really healthy and my hair loves warm tones it's really holding on to those red pigments. It's so frustrating because it's just a slight tint that doesn't want to come out. And I let my treatement sit for several hours too🙄. I've done this many times in the past and it has always worked but not this time apparently. I've gotten rid of most of the pigment but not all. I've done it twice so far and I'm going for a third hoping it all comes out this time. I'm just writing all of this for people to get different experiences from this method. One that's on non bleached or dyed hair, only direct dye. I really like the vitamin c because it's very gentle and doesn't really affect virgin hair. So if you're like me it's really the best option for removing color from it. It's also really cheap which is a big plus. Only downside is you have to do it several times and ultimately it might not remove all of it. Hope this novel helps someone. 😅

What hair vitamins do you take?

In the salon I work at, we use Kevin Murphy Color.Me and what we do to get rid of left over color residue we use a color tube called CLEAR (works more as a color diffuser, we use it mostly for color balancing) but it works amazing for getting rid of pastel color! We use CLEAR with 10VOL (mixed 1 to 1:15) or 3.5 VOL (mixed 1:2) and it's so gentle on the hair! It even brightens up the blonde about a shade :) I highly recommend if you get your hands on it to try it out! ☺️

I wonder where you put your heating pad? Directly on top of the part might explain why the top roots fade better than the bottom roots.

I think it hung on to the right side of your head because of the way you applied it. You kept starting on the top and the right side was the last area you applied it. Maybe? Just my guess tho lol. You are def a cool person Aislinn!!

I have light brown hair and I had dyed it cosmic blue, as it grew out I had really harsh roots so I tried this vit c treatment and it worked brilliantly. No more harsh line for my roots! Thank you 😊

If I tried this treatment with my faded green /blue /purple ends of my hair. Would it go to brown or would I have to dye it over ? To be clear my hair is naturally a dark brown & it started dyed green blue then my sister put blue & purple over it after it got really faded. I’m just curious & would appreciate the information

I tried this with one of your previous videos. I forgot the dish detergent and it was not effective for me, maybe I did not add as many crushed pills of vitamin c as needed for my hair as well, lol. Now that I am seeing this one forgot to wet my hair as well 😂😂😂
