Yeah good idea! It’s still great! The only things are you do sorta need to do a deep clean with vinegar every 3 months or so and the app is a bit annoying to pull up every time if you want to use the presets. But just minor annoyances really, it’s freaking great! I’ve actually lost an average of 7lbs since I bought it too

@@travisderose Thanks so much for the response and congratulations on the weight loss! Information on how well the app works has been hard to come by, but it sounds like you haven't had connectivity issues. I did have some follow up questions. Have you had any issues with the base not reading the jar? You seem fond of large batch smoothies, how you tried single serve portions as other have complained of poor blending under that condition?

I just ordered one of these last night. I've had a crappy ninja from walmart for 2 years which is obnoxiously loud and leaves chunks. This blender looks amazing

Same, except I went with the nutri bullet. I learned the hard way that you can't get the thing for cheap without a struggle. Save up and invest in a much better product even if it takes a few extra months of payments. Well worth it if you use it every day, and those long warranties are so nice.

I just bought the same Vitamix and I also wanted it in white. Unfortunately in Australia it cost me $660 AUD and that was the 'sale' price! Can't wait to use it - thanks for your great video.

In Norway its $650 US dollars while the A3500 is $950 . I ordered the A2300 2 days ago and it came today. I made a smoothie immediately and it was perfect! Im hoping its durable as they say as its quite an investment. Im planning to buy the accesory because the container that came with it is too big if you will make smoothie for 1 person only

@@grazie0316 Yes, me too. And the small bowls would be handy for chopping up a few ingredients. I'd rather buy once than buy several cheaper models, so I do hope it lasts!

The a2300...great choice especially if you KNOW you're only going to be using it to make smoothies. Makes little sense to spend more money for some of the other tech the models above this one use to sell them with. And it can do pretty much everything the other Ascent models can (e.g. paired with the app). Only drawback is there will be times when you'll be distracted and over blend a smooth and get a warm drink or possibly a soup. :Plus, if any one wants to access the app you'll need your phone or tablet...will you always have your phone or tablet handy?? I'm getting thte a2500 for that reason. Avoid over blending and always needing my phone ready if I want to use the app. I think I'd be using mine for smoothies, nut butter making and making soups occasionally. For that reason spending more money on an a3300 or a3500 makes little sense to me.Just for a better display, programmable timer (probably never use) and 1 extra food preset button. No toggle switches too... Ferris Bueller?? :)

You just need to stay with the blender for one short minute. It’s hard to forget you’re blending something with the noise it makes. I got the A2300 because those programs on the more expensive models are not worth the higher price to me.

Isn't the timer in the A2300 programmable? The one in the Venturist 1200, which is a cheaper Costco model, I understand is programmable.

My aunt had the ninja blender until she tried a smoothie that was made with my blendtec and she replaced it with a vitamix

@@travisderose The only difference is that blendtec wanted a blender that will be very durable and that they show it blending up objects and they have a thing on youtube called will it blend and both are very good quality blenders

Ordered the Vitamix A2300 Ascent Super bundle & Im sending it back. I thought the bluetooth interface on the 'smoothie containers' was clumsy, hard to 'align the almost invisible arrows", and the package didnt have the most used container, a 48 ounce wet container. The 64 oz is too huge. The dry container isnt that useful. Im now going to shop for the Explorian with a 48 oz container.

Yeah I like the white a lot! No regrets, it’s been great! I love the auto-modes so it’s nice to have those available on the phone to load up. It’s a been annoying to pull out my phone every time but not a big deal at all

The Autodetect function of the new Vitamix is not working properly making the VITAMIX is anything but reliable. After a while your highly likely run into the problem that your container does not get recognised. In my case right after purchase, basically right after unpacking, the container was not recognised. Vitamix sent me a new one but I should have already known that the design is flawed. Now, after 2.5 years, same issue, but no warranty! Meaning, the Vitamix is useless. Go for something more basic and reliable. The autodetect function is a big mess. I do not know how they could introduce such a fragile tech to the market.
