The stainless steel is for mixing cold drinks, milkshakes and smoothies. The steel will freeze. I’m curious though, online Costco has the Venturist Pro as a standalone blender. They also list a bundle with the A2300 the food processor and a smaller plastic container. Was this a special where they had a person selling them instore?
Just got this at Costco yesterday, pretty nice, unfortunately it doesn’t work with my old containers. But my old containers rubber lids work with the new containers, strange. lol
I believe these new containers have an RFID chip in them that the machine detects. It will only work with those newer containers. I think they did this precisely so you would have to buy new ones because they know their repeat customers would try to use the old ones.. wouldn’t be too bad but if you thought the old containers were expensive you haven’t seen anything yet.. these new containers are ridiculously expensive…greedy in my opinion. They work great though.. so there is that.
Flip the switch on the side of the base to turn on. Then when the container is on it, you press down on the paddle switch. The timer will illuminate automatically.
