Let's be honest about Vitas. He is a perfect singer, He has a great vocal training and everything BUT when you use your voice a lot with those notes it comes a moment when you won't feel fresh or free to repeat them. So he started using lipsynch to save his voice but he actually use it A LOT! So honestly we don't know his REAL TODAY'S VOICE with his clasical songs. He has never sounded like that live with this song!
He obviously adored his mother with her operatic singing ability and sings with her in mind. I don't like the over production of singers voices these days. Votas's included.
He has not done a live concert in years tho so he is preserving his voice a little too well, always relying on voice activation to do the job of singing for him, a total fraud since he tries to prove that hes not lip syncing with those mic swings but the mic has been configured for that, its not lip syncing, its voice activation, so a more advanced type of lip syncing

Больше раздражают придурки, смотрящие на то, как он открывает рот под эту же запись, и в комментариях пишут что-то на подобие: "Вот это мастерство, с таким спокойным лицом тянет такие ноты". Я люблю живые исполнения и не вижу смысла от концертов с фонограммой, пусть даже будут различные спец эффекты и, но живое, и Витас вполне может петь, да, не так гладко, как на записях, но может...
I would love to hear him in front of a crowd surrounding him. I have seen sing accopella, with respect for some reason is in front of one person . My Mom adores him. I love his song called Smile (ylibalis). You will love it.
I've been telling people for ages, he can sing, but NOWHERE near the studio stuff, or live stuff. He sings lower and the voice activated playback plays higher.
Idk why people keep thinking he cant sing as high as the studios. when they dont even watch him when he was young. it could be he only use playback when he is old. not when he is young. u know. to preserve his voice ?
For everyone saying he’s never been able to hit high notes, I’ve seen him live, front row, and you could clearly hear his voice hitting the very high notes away from the mic, but he also sounded slightly different to his other performances, he does lip sync songs as the notes he hits takes a toll on his voice but i can say for a fact I’ve been up close and heard him hit those very notes, plus if you don’t believe me, Watch opera #2 1996, he does hit the note very clearly

It's how people see it. For me, any singer or artist who does a "live" performance and rely heavily on playback is a fraud, but that's my opinion. Some people also think it's okay and part of the show, and that's their opinion. I just think that if you can't perform live without relying on help from playback or autotone or whatever, then you're not really a singer aka a fraud. Also I think every song has it's own charm while getting performed live, because while it may not be as clean as the studio version, it's just more raw and you can really feel the emotion of the song.
