I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the word Now in the morning, I sleep alone Sweep the streets I used to own I used to roll the dice Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes Listen as the crowd would sing Now the old king is dead, long live the king One minute, I held the key Next the walls were closed on me And I discovered that my castles stand Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singin' Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason, I can't explain Once you'd gone, there was never, never an honest word And that was when I ruled the world It was a wicked and wild wind Blew down the doors to let me in Shattered windows and the sound of drums People couldn't believe what I'd become Revolutionaries wait For my head on a silver plate Just a puppet on a lonely string Aw, who would ever wanna be king? I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason, I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringin' Roman Cavalry choirs are singin' Be my mirror, my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world
I think this is the Version of this song I want played at my funeral. My life has not been very pretty. I think it's fitting to the life I never really had.
IF YOUR READING THIS, GOD LOVES YOU AND HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU AND HE WILL NEVER FORSAKE YOU Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."
@@PouLShe dose not make you suffer , we have free will . Do not blame God for someone else’s actions or your own . He also fights battles you don’t even see you for
@@Cy3er_Br4t "Free will" doesn't protect you from fires, meteor strikes, floods, diseases, and most other things. "Free will" is just a bad excuse to justify an omnipotent being doing terrible things. Yahweh would have the power to easily stop all diseases, all natural disasters, all sources of death and suffering, all mental disorders, and yet he doesn't. Also, some people are born with, for example, no arms and legs, or with severe mental disorders, but somehow it's their fault because they didn't use their "free will" to be born perfectly healthy. Really, this argument is very stupid, most things are beyond one's control, free will doesn't do shit. It's like if a government gave you the right to do anything but if you got murdered they would say it's your fault because you didn't use your right to protect yourself.
This slowed version makes me realize that in may I’m will graduate to 9th grade, for now I’m at 8 grade. Can’t believe time flies like heck. I’m really gonna miss my teachers and my friends 🙂↕️😞😞
Wow.... Está entre mis tres versiones más alegres en mi corazón... Yo la escucho llena de Vida y Esperanza. La voy a poner cuando se me quiera salir el Hulk a la calle. Me alegra y tranquiliza. Gracias
