I am with you on flying; especially today. I live north of Houston and my parents lived north of Dallas. I have driven that road thousands of times. People have asked me why I didn't fly. At the time I was taking all those trips, the airport with the "cheap" flights was south of town, so an hour's drive in the wrong direction. You see where that is going. [And it got worse when the airport you flew into was over an hour's drive from their house instead of about 20 minutes for the other.] And then you have a car there to get around in.

We went to see our kids during baseball season in Cimarron, KS....it was always around 110 degrees plus during the day and cool down in the evenings about 10 degrees. We would say oh finally it's cooler LOL 80 would have been sweater weather!
