I don't understand why many people say classical music is "relaxing". This is not relaxing, it's the opposite, it makes you want to get up and dance jump run air conduct and be silly....

I have listened to many La Folia arrangements from different composers and with different musicians. This one is and excellent rendition of the Vivaldi master piece. One change I would have done: since they had the harpsichord, I would have used viola da gamba instead of cello. In any case this is a great rendition.

Great performance"! Greetings from Sweden! ) We have a copy of this melody in our "Sinclairvisan" from mid 1700s about a murder of a swedish diplomate Malkolm Sinlcair, who was brutally killed by russian agents when he tried to get Turkey in an alliance against Russia.. We lost that 1741-43 war big time.. :(
