Utter joy inspires me to say this: You all have some of the best interpretations of Baroque works on RU-vid! So much heart and so much soul has been merged into melody, making each piece, in truth, a rarely fashioned pearl (thus is the meaning of "Baroque"). It is not only shown in the music that you all bring to life, but it is reflected within each individual. The love with which they have dedicated to preserving this great music is so filled with devotion, and that love flies beyond man-made boundaries in a Spring where every soul is in absolute Joy in the Ocean of Sound! Every time these ears hear a piece performed by the human beings that you bring together, it is filled with that same Joy that rows music across the river of the world and into the skies, where all identity is lost and what remains is oneness with these great composers whose inspirations were born from their hearts. And the love from their hearts was so much that it continues to penetrate the world until eternity. They, in truth, allowed themselves to be the instruments of the One who Created of Music. And, now, here a humble group in the Netherlands is, being instruments of the instrument! Thus is music and its power. From this filled heart of mine, I wish you all to grow in this homage toward Bach and music itself! May it be completed, and may music forever reign before you all!

In romantic era and beyond, its expected that the composer is so precise that any change is considered an error, except for the cadenza (if its there) In baroque, many composers paved a way, a way that could be filled in or perfected by the musicians if they thought that wise or necessarily. So I guess that our red haired priest, maybe even more because he was a teacher, would welcome any self initiative at all times.

Conducting was only invented for classical ensemble after Vivaldi, and since then, the cult of the "Maestro" has actually made modern classical music more egotistical than not. I studied classical music and composition at the university in my city, and this take is just wrong, sorry.

YES! This is how it is supposed to sound like. Now you can actually hear all the things that Vivaldi wrote in his sonnets. It's bad enough that nobody recites those anymore, but in modern performances even the sounds get lost sometimes. Just read this before you listen to the piece and you'll hear what is going on: Allegro Springtime is upon us. The birds celebrate her return with festive song, and murmuring streams are softly caressed by the breezes. Thunderstorms, those heralds of Spring, roar, casting their dark mantle over heaven, Then they die away to silence, and the birds take up their charming songs once more. Largo On the flower-strewn meadow, with leafy branches rustling overhead, the goat-herd sleeps, his faithful dog beside him. Allegro Led by the festive sound of rustic bagpipes, nymphs and shepherds lightly dance beneath the brilliant canopy of spring.

Origins of music unevidenced. Except it is gift to humanity from God the Creator. Music continues in heaven. Discontinues in hell. Jesus Christ came from heaven to earth for one purpose only - to die on cross for remissions of pre-existing sins of every single person and to resurrect. Jesus Christ providing forgiveness from pre-existing sins for every single person, salvation from eternity in hell and free entry to eternity in heaven for all who repent of sins in Jesus Christ. Other side of death is eternity. Eternity in hell. Or eternity in heaven through Jesus Christ. Penalty of pre-existing sins already paid by Jesus Christ on The Cross. Accept HIM. Repent sins in Jesus Christ name. Be saved from eternal in hell. Enter heaven. Enjoy heavenly music. For free.
