Water getting behind the scuttle panel gets into the engine bay and finds its way down to the injectors which then seize. This is a short video explaining why it happens and how to solve the ingress problem.
Hi Mauro, yes it did. I left the Van outside in three hours of rain then inspected the engine bay. There was no water ingress 👍 Just make sure you take your time and seal it all correctly. Also, while you've got it all apart make sure you clean the drain holes out at either end of the bulk head scuttle pan. They have two black pipes connected in an oval shape draining down the side of the Van to the ground. Hope that helps.
