VIVE TALK - Color Passthrough with the VIVE XR Elite and VIVE MR Gasket 

I'm currently considering this headset as my next big purchase, but I'm waiting for the standalone library to grow and the depth sensor and other software stuff to be improved on. This is still quite a promising headset.

I find the included face cover to be the most uncomfortable one on any headsets I've owned. If I put the headset on straight, the bottom pops out and there is a gap on the bottom of the headset ruining my immersion.

Can you actually enable the depth sensor!?

At the moment all real life reviews have been disappointing! Bad wireless connection . Will this be fixed with updates ?

Please fix the issue where controller input stops being sent to streaming games when the boundary auto passthrough shows up. I really like the feature, but had to disable it because of this.

Speaking of gaskets… how about offering a silicone gasket?

its an amazing headset so far ! , i want to know if there's a chance to have colour passhtrough while streaming an app from PC , i really need PC power for my virtual app and then have a passthrough feature working inside that , so far ive only noticed that colour passthrough its only available on mobile enviroment / Please let me know about this ! thank you so much!

Question: The diopters are supposed to enable those with prescription glasses to use the device without them, right? Is the gasket supposed to make it more comfortable to keep your perscription glasses on? Which is the preferred mode for people with prescription glasses?

Might be more useful if these MR gaskets were actually available on my local Vive Store. Even better if they were already included imho. I have astigmatism so I need to wear my glasses and/or use custom lens inserts.

am I able to use it with macOS or is gonna be there a future possibility?

At this price point, the shortcomings when compared to your competitors needs to be addressed. No built-in face AND eye tracking and not even an accessory to add them later? I feel like you guys missed your chance to really one-up the Q Pro and steal customers away from them to your platform. Eye and face tracking ability will determine if I keep or cancel my pre-order, really.

Experience thus far is awful. The streaming software crashes, locks up PC's and the wireless streaming is garbage. I've got a high end system and fibre network throughout my house. Had setup a Unifi 6 AP to be used just for the headset so there is no interference and I get full 1Gb wire speed to the internet via the wireless access point yet this garbage vive streaming HUB usually drops after one session then gets caught spinning in a loop and cant reset the headset. Switch on and it continues where it left - in a locked loop. After an hour being disconnected it starts fresh and goes all through the setup and roomspace again. 20+ times room setup. It just keeps doing this after I have to power off the headset for sometime. It is absolutely appalling for the price. I suggest everyone stay clear until HTC get their act together with the junk software!!!!!!!!! Not only this but the lenses look cloudy and I think this is light reflection from the lens to the diopter. Also the face gasket is clearly made for Asians as my nose hurts big time from the full weight resting on the bridge of my nose. Gives me headache..... So incredibly disappointed!!!!!!!!!!
