Black Americans stay degrading themselves in the 2020s. Did Blaxploitation ever end? Of all the stories to tell... There were some amazing stories written and directed by Black filmmakers on TV about Black lives during the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s. But since the 2000s, the millennials and Gen Z keep returning to these street life stories. Obsessed with portraying the fast life and ignorant behaviour, which White executives will happily finance and broadcast as they can profit off of our demise.
