I have to say, he really has a knack for picking just the right song to suit the sound he was using. And I can't remember hearing a piano player switch between so many playing styles so easily and performing all of them near flawlessly. To me that's almost as impressive as the instrument!
Best demo I have ever heard Fabulous keyboard which I have just bought The functions are so thoughtfully laid out and particularly easy to control for live playing The Dexibell is in my opinion the future of keyboards
I'm thinking of buying one, but you are the first I have come across who has one, all the rest are demonstrators from music shops. So you are pleased, what do you think of the keyboard itself?
What fantastic demo Mike. Real class there with a classically trained player too. The 10 turn pots on the resonance filters was a nice touch! This SF7 definitely ticks all the boxes!
That was Brilliant! Great Product and Presenter! Dexibell's whole line of products seem to cover all bases for great workhorse utility keyboard stuff. Bravo!
I have tried this piano at Namm and the only decision to be made for me is which model to choose (it will be one of the remarkably affordable portable ones for me). Playing it was such an amazingly musical experience and I suddenly realised how approximate the other very acceptable digital pianos I have enjoyed playing are in comparison and response feel. Get to try one of these for yourself!
Great piano sounds! Am currently using the German Grand Platinum (a Bechstein Grand sample according to Dexibell) and the Upright Platinum (manufactured in Czech Republic, maybe a W. Hoffmann Upright sample) on my Dexibell Vivo S7 Pro. Great living sound detail and personal character. Way to go!
Hi Ralf! Great demo, actually fantastic demo!! I own the VIVO sound module and find it somewhat cumbersome to use so I wanted to upgrade to the keyboard version. Wow!! Did not know how much you can do with this keyboard! Ordering one today and putting the Kurzweil on the shelf. Cheers and keep playing, you're a fabulous musician! :)
Mercy Mercy Mercy! Can they just get this guy to demo every keyboard. True music not cheesy regurgitated cliche minor blues licks from these "demonstators" 😂 Im gonna get one. Key off noises, hammer sound, unlimited polyphony. He sold me way back at the beginning before i heard all the awesome sounds and all the amazing functions 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 such an underated stage piano imo
Really greaaat demo (what a pianist!) and instrument ! Is it the modern rebirth of my GEM Promega3...? I hope so, and I was waiting for that good news ! Luigi Bruti and Italian sound engineers did a good job. I wish Vivo the best, for musicians like us !
Vincent S If that's true it's a dream comes true. I still love my GEM RP-X to death. What an astounding instrument the Vivo is. Also eveything else i saw from Dexibell
Sorry, I was refering to the program sounds in the various models, not accompaniment. For example: Does the swell pipe organ sound appear in the S7 etc? I am noticing a lot of the same sounds accross the whole line (including Classico and ComboJ7.) Thanks. Is there a list of sounds for each product?
I have the same question as you. The Classico L3 and Combo series might have some sounds in common but I doubt the Vivo series have the same sound engine as the L3.
What is that speak system you're using Ralf????? I don't recognize the logo. Outside of that....what a beautiful player you are! I've been a die hard Roland rd-800 player until now........wow.
4:30 I really wasn't expecting David Foster's "Water Fountain" (from the movie The Secret of My Success)! What a great and unusual choice... I always enjoy playing themes from that movie, especially on FM piano sounds (another great theme is called "Gazebo"). It's pure Eighties magic.
Might I add, after playing the S1 I find the Dexibell even better that it is demonstrated. Herbie Hancock ...Chick Corea .....Stevie ......where are you ?....you would love this keyboard 🎹.
He avoids playing strings sounds. In fact, not very good ones. Speaking about polyphony : unlimited. . . so why just layering up to 2 sounds ? This feature could permit at least 4 layered sounds. I dont understand.
that is a classical music masterpiece by Modest Mussorgsky called Pictures at an Exhibition (composed in 1874) and re-adapted beautifully by Keith Emerson in 1970 for a 3-piece rock band.(cd live in Newcastle 1971 by Emerson, Lake and Palmer)
When I listen to Bonners Music, the piano sounds better. Time for someone to counterweight all the praises: First of all his piano technique is not good. To much pedal, and it creates a lot of noise. And then the sound it self is bad. I have listen to other demos, and it seems like Ralf Schink tend to monopolize the sound. I don't know why he is doing this, but all the recordings on the internet he kills the stereo perspective of the sound by using the balance knob on the mixer in the wrong position on the left and right channel. It has to be hard left and hard right on respective left and right channel.
