Vivo X200 Pro Camera Comparison test against the Samsung S24 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Side-by-side video, ultrawide footage, zoom cameras, selfies, vlog, and audio all compared. Vivo X200 Pro camera test
Wow, you don't mess around - second video out already, great work.🔥 It's pretty clear that Samsung needs to seriously step up it's game with the S25 Ultra. This is only Vivo's Pro model, imagine what the Ultra model would do to them.
So fast with uploading, I literally just got the launch news from weibo and you already have a full-blown comparison. Thanks for the cool and honest insights Chris!
You are the first to do a camera comparison of Vivo X200 Pro... Kudos Sir.. while others are still dealing with just specifications and a couple of pics 😂
@@Techtablets your efforts have paid off Sir... Your comprehensive, hair splitting comparison coupled with your straightforward remarks are always revered and loved... Respects for your efforts Sir 🙏
TLDR: Best selfie portrait shots: S24U Best rear portraits: Vivo X200 Pro Best zoom shots: Vivo X200 Pro Best lowlight and macro: Vivo X200 Pro Best video front and rear: iPhone 16 Pro Max Microphones: Vivo and Samsung
well this is certainly total brilliance, dude did it on the spot, thanks for this! Oh wow, vivo night video looks like it could be a gamechanger! Very impressive!
Amazing work you did there! Since I'm not so much of a video guy, I guess that the Vivo is clearly the winner for me. If Vivo gets rid of the skin smoothing on selfies and the red color over saturation it will be a true champion!
Great comparison. And damn that vivo looks seriously impressive. If this is what the cameras are looking like already at release, I can't even imagine after updates, just amazing. Already making me want to sell the Oneplus 12 and the get the mini version when it goes global.
Samsung makes more money giving to other companies sensors they produce. On the other hand companies for sure have made deal with Samsung not to produce the super wow smartphone like Vivo almost have done with ultra. Anyway from what I saw, Vivo X200 pro isn't an upgrade to ultra, at least not than much to justify it's price. Who wants the best photography experience right now depending the money it costs and wants also a very good phone overall, would not go wrong with X100 ultra. Nice job with this quick comparison...
@@DeRockeyTech its better in almost all scenario, mic is way better, video is way better too, hut rather just stick to your x100, not worth just upgrading for camera, when the x300 will be better
the daytime footage from vivo have problem with their focus, I think. Non stoping jump even when you are not moving. In the other hand, those night videos, even with drop frames and all, vivo capture the most detail on zoom lens, bo s24 and iPhone footage look too blurry.
Thank you very much for the review! I think low light video of X200 Pro is the most detailed (more detailed than iPhone). I just hope they'll fix the jitter with the updates.
2:46 Vivo absolutely butchered them. (Edit) As a photographer and videographer I gotta say that Vivo butchered them both in all areas but especially in low light video detail. There is always post-production for removing some of the noise that Vivo produced but there isn't a method where you can add detail to Samsung and iPhone so i think Vivo definitely pulled ahead there.
Thanks, as always, Chris. I agree with your findings. Were I going to buy one of these right now, it would be the Vivo. Its mic blew the others away (s24's totally sucked), the still images looked better in most cases (barring those oversaturated reds, the skin-smoothing, and the lack of a super wide field of view). Apple's video will always be better than everyone else's, but I'm also taking into account features like Super Raw and full manual mode, the latter of which is a biggie and the #1 reason that my current phone (14 Pro Max) frustrates the hell out of me. So yeah, Vivo it is. Thanks again!
You’re welcome. I wish that UW was a bit wider and with some software updates like fixing the oversaturated reds and ultrawide EIS it will be one of the best there is. The zoom is impressive even better than my X100 Ultra.
Ultrawide on x200 have big issues with stabilisation or it's broken. Best sound but most wind noise. Wish vivo could lower that oversharpening. It looks otherwise much better in low light. Pause at 2:42. Looking good.
i disagree with the video low ligh the vivo had much more details with some frame drops but the iphone had the best dynamic range in th video in low light so to me its a tie
@@Techtablets ya but then you need to segregate you cannot just declare overlay bcs there are so many factors that has to be accounted hence my suggestion is segment it by like Low light dynamic range Low light stability Low light details Low light colour This would give the viewers a new perspective this is my opinion
Damn samsung still king when he start panning to left the jittering in vivo was noticeable! This is near end 2024 hope vivo fix it soon! Even S23 Ultra done better
The audio on the Vivo has really improved, definitely notice it. But the video has quite some issues , like what was this 2:20. Hopefully software updates sort that out
I'm currently 2 minutes into the video. The Vivo seems to be the only one with flickering lights in video. very distracting. The iPhone also clearly beats the Samsung in video, from what I have seen so far. Audio on the Vivo seems good.
btw i really appreciate your very fast review, i really appreciate it, I am an Apple fanboy and I admit that the Vivo X200 Pro is the phone with the best camera in 2024. Vivo is far from winning and beating the iPhone 16 and Pixel 9. For me, the Vivo X200 is still above the Huawei Pura 70 and will be top 1 in Dxomark in 2024.
I'm suprised how good the vivo x200 did under low light for video, look at the details it captured even while panning around, look at the texture on the ground. absolutely amaizing stuff.
A lot of other reviewers also say the iPhone has terrible noise on photos, what can I see is Vivo Ultra is still the camera king for next year but we will see if other Ultra can beat the Vivo.
Samsung uses the worst camera hardware among all the Android flagships. S24 Ultra has already been smoked by Vivo x100 pro in cameras. Trust me bro,Samsung gives us nothing comparing to vivo or Xiaomi in camera department.
The true power of Selfie cams are always against direct sunlight to see how good the HDR is! I hope to see more Ultrawide Selfie shots against direct lights if the option is available!
This is what i call a poor take. HDR ruins natural skin tones. It's not realistic and if you are taking a selfie in this way it's just wrong. Capturing photos of a backlit subject is one of the biggest flaws of smartphones because of the poor lens design and heavy ghosting. The colors would be atrocious with all smartphones and it will need heavy editing
@@Techtablets Agree but I have high hopes that such issues might be addressed through software updates....I have got the X100U and can't imagine how much better the X200U will be
