Playing a drum made by Alan Van Kleef Custom Drums (VK Drums UK) was something I've dreamt of owning for many years. Fast forward to late 2022, I ordered 2 drums from VK Drums as stock for The Drum HQ. This 14 x 6 Titanium, as well as a 14 x 6 Stainless Steel are the first of hopefully many that I will stock int he shop. I can't believe it took this long for me to be able to record it, and properly put it through its paces. I especially loved exploring the tuning range of this drum; loving the overtones. No muffling, no fancy devices. Just using the ears and responding to what the drum gives. Amazing drum...just listen.
