This was a deliberate attempt at testing the efficiency of my 20M HWEF Antenna Matching Coupler. Correction to video. Both Dave and myself were at 2 Watts. Dave G4AKC was not at 1 watt.
Hello Alex, Robert Vk7vz, Also at that time using a half wave end fed antenna , Most. Likely at the bay of fires , st hellens Tas, 30 mtrs back from saltwater. Well done on the2 watts contact, Dave and my self have done the 1-2 watt deal a few times as well , It’s the test of man and antenna versus propagation.
Nicely done Alex. I've been using the "Alex half wave 20" for my, parks on the air, activations with great success. I have made dx contacts into Europe on several of those activation. Thanks again for a great build.

Amazing contact, yea salt water does help a lot. Two watts, that is some contact, just shows, you don't need all the power others use. Just adds to noise. Shame about the plug with the dead carrier, there is always someone to spoil it for others. You would think Hams would value their licence a bit more and learn to behave and respect each other.
