Vladimir Artemov's solid performances at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games gave him the Olympic gold in the both the high bar and the parallel bars; and silver at the floor event.
Not surprisingly, he also came to win the Individual All-around event and be part of the Soviet team which took the highest spot on the podium.
