One of the greatest pure hitters in MLB history!!! Deserves more respect for what he did in the steroid era!!! The only power hitter that no one ever questioned about steroids or PEDs!! Can't wait to see him in the hall of fame
It was hard to miss an at bat, he had no batting gloves, had a lethal swing, crazy batting stance and could literally hit anything. By all accounts he was a great teammate too.

Bryan Howard the guy could hit a ball from anywhere in the strike zone, unfortunately his numbers are not great enough to be considered 1st ballot. A HOFer period? Maybe.
Bryan Howard 1,328 Runs - 2590 Hits - 477 Doubles - 449 Home Runs - 1,496 RBI - .318 Average. Also batted .300 or better in 12 consecutive seasons, would have been 14 had he not finished at .295 one year. I'd say he's Hall of Fame WORTHY.... but might not even make it.

I see the Mike Trout 2014 highlight vid is over 7 & a half minutes. I understand he won the MVP, but he hit .280 & struck out 180 times. Vlad never came close to those numbers in his entire career, above & below.
One of my favorite players ever growing up Vlad was a straight-up baller give him a bat and he going to do damage no gloves and stuff and he had the best arm in the game hell he still has the best arm in history love him in his Expo days and never test vlads arm
a week or so aago tom glavine said he feares vlad more than any other hitter hedever faced. Saying it was only untill we figured out if we threw him a fastball down the middle we had a chsnce of getting him out.

Better call him the Whacker or any other similar, I don't like "The Impaler" because if you know history, The Impaler was an assassin from the middle ages who killed his enemies by impaling them, and that is extremely evil and sick. Our Vladimir doesn't stand for any evil o similar thing to that.
