@@DR.DisInfectIgor Larionov was 36-37 when he won his first cup with Detroit. Detroit has a history of winning with players in their late 30's early 40's. Did you just start following the team? Taresnko is 32. That's old to you?
I'm getting excited. I loved people with the hate for Yzerman over not doing anything, not a comment after the Tarasenko signing. Very EXCITED to see him wanted him with the Wings since he was with the Blues.
It's one thing as a spectator to feel like the Wings were improving, year over year and even game to game. It's another to hear phenomenal players like Kane and Tarasenko echo that sentiment, that they're on a playoff trajectory and have the gumption to hang with the best of the best.
Welcome to Detroit Vladimir! You’ll fit right in here. We love our Russians! Looking forward to seeing that shot of yours from your spot on the PP. 30+ goals definitely possible now you can settle in to one team. Congratulations on your cup, bring some of that winning culture here.
Im so excited to see him on the red wings are top 6 is going to be cooking this year no question and he seems like a great vet along with kane both have won 2 or more cups and both can score clutch goals
Really thrilled that you signed in Detroit, Vladimir T👍🎯!!! Long-time Red Wings fan, here, and always a fan of your: great attitude, commitment, reading of the game, and 'A' grade skill out on the ice..great shot, too! Hope you and your family really enjoy your time in Detroit. Good luck in 2024/25🤞👍!
It’s hard enough asking guys questions with a slight language barrier in the NHL. Doing it over Skype seems even more difficult lol. That being said in stoke we got him. He’s an upgrade and knows what it takes to win the cups.
Hate that Stevie traded Walman. He (along with Seider) had the most minutes of any d pair against top players in the league (can’t remember the exact stat). He fell off some late in the season, but he was locked in at 3.4M for another 2 years. Plus we gave a 2nd round pick to get rid of him. This move makes no sense to me whatsoever. I trust in Stevie, but sometimes he does these head scratching moves, like signing Justin Holl for a multi year deal. Walman was our 2nd best dman after Seider for majority of year and we were winning during that time. Losing Ghost should’ve been another reason to keep him. SMH
Walman being our 2nd best defensemen is quite literally why he’s gone right now🤣. If your top d pairing consists of Walman, we’re screwed…. I liked his personality, I’m sure he was great for the locker room, but he seemed more motivated to boost his social popularity than his hockey game. I don’t want that kind of player to be in our team. I want a defenseman who is putting in overtime to make his game better, not fish for viral clips like griddying on the ice, or making tiktoks
Wow!! he said he liked the way the team played!!! And some fans don't smh very puzzling fan base we have. Kane said we have a top notch organization. I guess Kane and Vlad are Steve Bots too huh??🤣 And am I the only one who has wondered why we haven't had a good Russian player since Pavel?
Знает как играть, всегда #1. Молодец что поступает правильно в финансовом вопросе. 2 кубка Стэнли. Молодец! Новосибирск- столица Сибири! 🎉 Желаем 3 кубка.
Great to see Florida finally get its first Stanley Cup. Paul Maurice has been chasing that thing for some time and Florida was most certainly deserving of it but, it's time to get serious now, Detroit has been a lot better than this, they're an original six and their performance as of late hasn't kept up with that. There was a time when everyone in hockey wanted to play for the Detroit Red Wings, now, I don't think anyone cares like they used to. That 2001-2002 season right after 9/11, that's a different breed of hockey player. There was loyalty. Guys that cut their salary to bring on players to win a Stanley Cup and players coming into the team that took pay cuts or didn't insist on higher pay because they were already making enough, they wanted to bring back the Cup to Detroit and be part of Detroit and be part of that moment and wouldn't ya know it, it was Paul Maurice and the Carolina Hurricanes (I think Maurice just likes tropical weather) but they did it and won the Stanley Cup. When Hasek, from the Sabres and was the best goalie in the league was faltering, his defenseman picked it up and carried him til he was back on his feet. Yzerman, Shannohan, Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Lindstrom, Stuart, Franzen, McCleary, Osgood, Holmstrom, many of which would later on win the Cup against against Pittsburgh as The Mule struck again scoring better than he had ever done in his career, maybe his best season. That was Detroit. HOCKEYTOWN BABY! It's been way too long and is overdue. Time to get back in the game. This year, I'm pullin for Detroit and UHC, see if the newbies can shake the hockey world. Guys playing for UHC are really lucky too. New team, new city never to have an NHL team, which have been doing great as of late. Kraken don't have a Cup yet but they made playoffs first season. Knights only around for a couple of years and already have a Stanley Cup, of course they had Fleury hot off his time with the Pens winning a couple Stanley Cups with Crosby and then again with the Knights so.... ITS TIME DETROIT! Happy you got to have your moment in the sun V.T., I think it's time to have another. You thought Fort Lauderdale was crazy or Edmonton, well, Welcome to the D
So very cool & rare! The Wings players now have 6 rings among them, between 3 teams (Kane w/ Chi: 3, Vlad w/ St. Louis: 1 & Fla: 1)... Compher has a Cup w/ Colorado as well. Lots of experience in the room now! LGRW 🐙
WTH IS MY FAVORITE PLAYER EVER ON SO MENY TEAMS GOSH FIRST THE BLUES MY FAVORITE THEN THE RANGERS THEN THE SENS THEN THE PANTHERS AND NOW THE RED WINGS
Yep she’s the worst reporter the Detroit media has. Always the dumbest questions and just the way she talks to athletes..she sounds like she is almost talking down to them…definitely comes across as condescending to the point of rudeness
@@a.N..... Kane was going to resign no matter what because his situation benefitted the Wings all the way so since it was Kane was almost guaranteed to resign that ain't a gift. As far as our off season FA pickups it's really a lackluster year this year compared to others. Tarasenko was the only present I like while everybody else are barely going to barely do us anything because they have AHL written on them which is not what the team needs now.
@@landen3578it wasn’t lackluster, it was a very expensive offseason UFA market. Most of the contracts that got handed out were horrendous. The only thing I wish we would have gotten was a 5-8m Defensemen. But we didn’t lose any scoring, probably gained it.
