Hi Carol, sorry I forgot the day before. I didn't think I was forgetful but it appears when I film everything just goes out of my head! I wish I'd been crocheting for longer and that I could master knitting but I wouldn't want to abandon crochet for knitting. I love it too much xx

Hope you start feeling better soon I loved hearing about your grandmother and grandfather and the stories that he must have tucked away in his memory. It’s such a great idea to try and capture those stories. My grandmother passed last year and about a year before when we could see it beginning, we set up a camera and my son told her he had to do a school assignment on the oldest member of the family. He asked her a thousand questions and when she started talking. She started remembering a whole heap of other things as well. We turned it into a book for her which she loved. It was a nice walk down memory lane for her and gave my kids an insight into her life as well. Happy to email you a copy of what we did for any inspiration if you’re interested 😊
