I just cleaned 2 bedroom carpet I vacuum first and prespray after. I used my truckmount but I forgot to turn on the chemical valve and only rinse with water. Will the carpet be OK. I noticed after I was done I didn't use chemical detergent. I ran the fan to dry quickly
I enjoy VLM but i prefer HWE. My dry times are about 1 hour the most 2 hours. You can get some awesome results by using a 175 with a scrubber then HWE on heavy soils and pet hair removal
Still looks dirty. If you ran a bissell big green or rug doctor over that you'd see tons of dirt come up. I love the oreck but it can't do what an extraction machine can do. It's just facts.
@@trushinecleaning1534do you think the bissel big green is a good starting point? I was looking at the mytee lite and the robocac too am curious what yoy think. Thank you
@@HealthyGuitarPlayer My advice as a professional carpet cleaner would be to not start off with a bissel or a rug doctor just because the customer could go out and rent one at a local store. In order to Hott water extract correctly you would need 400psi from your solution line. Bissel is not even close to that. Also you would need very good suction as well. VLM is definitely budget friendly and you could do really good work using a 175 slow buffer machine with bonnets and good scrub brush. For everything including bonnets and chemicals your Looking at about $700 to $1,200 depending on what machine you get. A truck mount can be very expensive but if you have the money look into ETM ( Electric Truck Mount ) with auto dump auto fill. Magic Wand Company has some good starter packages for about $5,000 comes with a lot of stuff to get you started and top notch customer service. Good luck on your journey. God bless
@@rene5313 This a dumb question. But would you say its a good idea to VLM and then just use like a rug doctor to just suck up dirt. Kind of like a budget friendly way to get nice looking carpets using VLM but also some extra dirt extraction using a rug doctor.
What I do is spray carpet with la awesome let sit 10 minutes or more agitate with 175 and carpet brush. Then I spray encapsulation solution then bonnet . Usually comes out really nice. The orek is too lite. Plus need to break down oil so it can be encapsulated. Peace
HWE is the superior clean, but we do what our customers ask of us, and some would like VLM. VLM is good for maintenance or commercial and berber carpet where wicking can prevent a nice appearance. With HWE you can have similar dry tines as VLM but only if using a high heat, high suction machine such as a truckmount.
Exactly vlm is good for commercial maintenance i wouldnt use vlm on residential. There's kids pets oil grime dirt that needs to get sucked out these lazy ass vlm guys that think vlm is the only way are fucking lazy ill spray them in the face with my diesel heater 200+ degree water
