I'm going to keep this underpant rant brief.... HAHAHA GEDDIT? ...But yeah it's difficult finding the perfect pair of bun holders. Either not enough coverage but a good elastic waist, or good coverage with a bad elastic waist. I mean c'mon world, we need to get it together and work towards the perfect pairs of underpants.
I like the hipster ones with lace at the top so there's no cutting in. I get mine at Victoria's Secret, but they have similar styles at Target and Kohl's and stuff too. The lace waistband is key!
I find it really interesting that you made a distinction between "x makes me feel bad about myself" and "I feel bad about myself when x happens." It's such a small linguistic difference, but the meaning subtly swaps around from placing blame on other things to acknowledging that it's an intrinsic thingy thing. I really appreciate that you said it like that.
This is such a good reminder that people of all body types struggle finding clothing that fits because clothing is almost never made for your exact body. And that we are all insecure. And that our bodies aren't something to be ashamed of. So thanks for that.
I tried out some MeUndies but I can't afford a lot of them even though they are extremely comfy and fit well. I find for more affordable undies I can shop at Aerie. They fit well and cover well in the areas I like, and there are a lot of very pretty styles in soft cotton, and other styles that don't show under clothes. I recently had to go up a size so I know the feeling, that even though you know your body is fine it's like the clothes are telling you it's not. Don't listen to them, they are not sentient like we are!
I concur with the lace band undies recommendations! The best/affordable ones are at aerie. It's all I wear now cuz who likes elastics cutting into their hips...
Hannah! Get lace top undies cause the band isn't super tight (like how elastic is) & won't cut into your skin causing that weird muffin top icky look. The lace bands are soooooo comfortable & lay flat against your skin. I'm sure they make boy-cut panties with lace top on them. Just google like "Lace band undies" or something. Idk.
I'm a person with a similar dilemma and Hannah let me tell you, get yourself some men's Calvin Klein briefs.. you'll never be able to wear a different brand ever again. The material is so comfy! I get mine a bit bigger too so they don't cut into my waist. I'm not sure about the US, but in Canada we have Calvin Klein outlet stores and you can get a few pairs for around $20. Dreams really do come true!
I have the same issue as an ample-hipped girl. I fell in love with the "breathe" line at Gap, specifically the girl shorts. They have a wide waistband with no elastic! And full coverage for the booty!
+Jordan Hotaling I literally came into the comments (which I NEVER do) to say this. How cool would it be for them to get a deal with ol' harto? and then make a pattern based on Hannah's branding? (cheese, her catch phrases, etc)
Considering that I'm plus-sized, this is pretty much me shopping for underpants EVERYWHERE.(That is, if I don't want to pay $ eleventy-billion for nice ones, when I'd rather spend $ eleventy-billion on Doctor Who stuff and craft supplies and everything with cats on it.)
I get my underwear from Target 'cause I'm not fancy and it's quite comfortable. Just your regular Hanes or whatever bikini cuts. They have some new fabric they use that is all nice and sleek and it's simple but attractive and definitely does not scream "I bought these at Target!"
I feel ya! It's such a self esteem crusher when stuff like that happens. I recently found some awesome ones at H&M. They're mens but they fit PERFECTLY and don't make me feel like a big fat fatty. Cheers!
MeUndies!!!!! Sooo cute and comfy and you can get a monthly subscription!!! Also, American Apparels sizing is ridiculous. I wear a size Medium in undies anywhere else but AA I'm like an XL. Don't worry your lovely self Hannah!

Try Uniqlo. Great quality, super comfy and cute styles, like stripes and stars and even tiny CATS! Yes they have it!. My daughter gets the boyshorts and hiphuggers. I like to shop at the one on 5th Ave and 53rd st, if you read this while in NYC.
I got some boyshorts from meundies and honestly they offer p good coverage and they fit pretty well. I know you've probably already heard all about them because so many youtubers are sponsored by them. But I like em fit-wise
Hannah!! If you are referring to they jersey boy brief undies go to jcpenneys and get the flirtitude boy briefs. They'll fit your "fluff" perfectly lol have a good daaaaaay
Before this video did anyone have an ad where you rotated your phone all around to view these people in like Skelton costumes and shit? Like one of them was hitting a pumpkin piñata. That as was so fucking trippy as hell and I loved it.
I bought these a few years ago and loved them to death, literally I wore them until they just died and I have never seen them anywhere since!!!! do they still exist??
I swear by Björn Borg Mini Shorts. Great quality and always comfortable. Wearing them under skinny jeans asks for some adjusting, but for me personally it's nbd. I'm not sure where to buy them in USA, since I live in Northern Europe.
BOY SHORTS FROM PINK BY VICTORIA SECRET!!! OMG Hannah my darling please go get some boy short undies from Pink!!!! They are my fav like literally, the best fitting and comfiest undies in the worlddddd! They are the way to my heart!
