You inspired me to do a mental health blanket. And I chose paintbox yarns for it. 😀 And we chose different color variants. I chose Melon Sorbet, Pine Green, Vintage Heather (dusty rose/lilac), Rich Teal and Misty Grey as a neutral.

I think you should totally make the videos the way that is most comfortable for you. I've been thinking about getting on You Tube for my crochet stuff but I have the same issue. I really don't want to show my face. It's comforting to know that maybe I could and that would be okay! Also, I really love your project ideas! New subscriber for sure!

I definitely still love this vlog even though it doesn’t show your face!! ❣️ I definitely don’t want you to do something that brings you a ton of stress! For me it’s nice to have a blog that doesn’t show people’s faces because I hyper analyze people’s face sometimes (I think to make sure I’m acting appropriately) and having a vlog that doesn’t show them makes them even more relaxing to me. ❣️❣️

i actually think a black lining would work really well for the bag; it would be mostly hidden by the squares but do a great job of adding a contrast that would make all the colours, including the cream, really pop and go for that bright colourful look you're going for. if not a black, then maybe a navy or cool brown - it looks like you've got a lot of cool tones in the bag already, and i think a dark cool colour lining would work really well and make it an eye-catching piece. white and cream would go with the colours, but make it more pastel and possibly fade the colours out? it's up to you in the end, whether you want a more pastel bag or a really bright one, but i can't wait to see how it goes regardless!!

There is a book that I've been thinking about getting - Chonky Amigurumi by Sarah Csiacsek- that might work with your new yarn. I like finding chonky ami patterns bc they make the most cuddly lovies.

I love making cow plushies, they're my best sellers (; a Lavender cow is the cutest!! So many people love the purples !! Michaels definitely doesn't stock very often or is pretty slow at it at least! Love crafts has such great sales and variety of yarn!!

Wow those yarns are beautiful colors!! If you want to make a more sturdy strap, you could always get into tablet weaving. You could even use those yarns to weave a chunky strap, it definitely wouldn't stretch out.

I adore Megan's videos, so if this is what makes you most comfortable, I'm into it! I also definitely relate to wanting to dress in brighter colors esp since the things I like are all pastel and cute, but I feel like I always need to wear darker colors, haha. and also omg I love heart's blood (I read it like a decade ago lol) and have never seen anyone else who's read it??? it made me so happy to see! also, I've started watching knitting + crocheting videos because your vids inspired me to try despite my nervousness about it haha! :0)

btw i’m guessing those paintbox cotton yarns are 50g, in which case you should have plenty leftovers to make something else with! i made a granny square tote bag with 18 squares and it used up about 200g

I have gotten straps by buying bags at thrift stores. I take off the hardware and straps then throw away the bag part.

Ahh loved this video!! Made me want to crochet too. I get so confused at the yarn shop and then I end up not getting anything. The shopkeepers seem v judgy. What yarn would u suggest i ask for? Like any commonly used size? the brands sold here are different too. No "wool of the gang" and "lion brand". And is cotton better or acrylic? Which one is softer? I think i'll visit the shops again. this weekend maybe. Love your channel
