Love your videos! Our conferences were on a Wednesday from 4pm-8pm (we have early release on Wednesdays, students are dismissed an hour an a half early) and from 9am-7pm on Thursday. No school on Friday.

Lol late to the party. It was cool to see a science lesson being taught by observing Galileo’s discoveries about the Earth 🌎. I teach 3rd grade, and we have just finished reading “Starry Messenger”. We learned that it wasn’t until 300 years later that skeptics realized that Galileo was right. Very great book!

We are expected o stay from 4pm-6pm Monday-Thursday and then we have to work 8am-4pm on Friday (with no kids). I try to get all of my conferences done during M-Th so that on Friday I can work on other things all day long with no interruptions. This happens in the fall and spring.

In my district it's part of our contract to come in for evening conferences. They are from 5-8pm and there's 2 nights in the fall and one night in the spring.

@Mrs. Call's Campers Hi Mayleen !, Have you ever thought about making your take a selfie thing be an end of the school year thing so that you can pick a day when taking grades for the school year ends and the whole send off honeymoon begins so that you can have a day to do all of your selfies with your students without being pressured into having to do that lesson or whatever? Meanwhile, I hope that you had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend. - Dwight

I do a selfie with all my kids at the end of the year on Fancy Day! They all get one :) but it's one of their fav rewards throughout the year!!!

You can add tests of your own or find ones that have been previously created so yes!

Gotta watch the amount of time you "volunteer" as a teacher. I'd like to know if doctors, nurses, lawyers or any other professional is put in a position to have to work for free because the timeslots available are not enough. Sorry for the vent....it just aggravates me when I know how much time, money, and effort go into creating and sharing an above-average classroom such as yours.

Well Vegas not having a class cap doesn't help 😂 if I had a smaller class I would have definitely had enough time - and mine isn't even *that* big. Conferences are also written into some teachers contracts, not sure if mine specifically, but yes.
