😂 Yes Scotland is a very cold and windy country! Unfortunately its too cold for me to shoot outdoors for most of the year and I don't have an accessible outdoor range that's suitable for training within 200 miles. In South Africa I can focus on wind training without freezing my butt off at the same time :D
I would say Baku is less complicated in terms of wind. It looks stronger and will certainly put you out further if you're not careful but I find it generally quite readable. The wind in South Africa is tricky and you have to be aware of mirage too so I find it harder and more complex but its perfect for training!
@@minimac400 I wanted to ask you about that. Rule 7.5.8.1 states that the use of spotting telescopes to judge wind is permitted for 50 metre events. Have you ever tried doing that? Most full bore shooters use them all the time but I've never seen a 3P shooter use one.
