I'm homeschooling my daughter (preschool at this point but kinder next year) and I'm loving your videos! I've gotten so many great ideas for teaching math and phonics which are the scariest things imo to teach!
I'm so grateful for all of your videos! They're so fun but also really informative. The glimpses into your actual real-time teaching is so great! I feel like teachers rarely get enough time to (do anything but also) observe others with students teaching real classes. That's something I very much miss from my certification program!
Started Secret stories Last week. Loving it. It's amazing how the kids are remembering them when we are reading and writing. Their favorite so far is ir,er and ur. Just got Rhyme magic today, starting it tomorrow.
Hi Mayleen! So now that I’m on summer break, I’m just binging your videos. I love all your content! Thank you! PS, I love to hear what kind of coffee you’re drinking every morning. I always know it’s Monday when the cookie butter jar is out! Enjoy your summer!
A little tip for the tissue paper art to make it a little easier (and neater😅)! Take a square piece and put it on top of the eraser side of a pencil, a flat surface, and press it down, around the sides moulding it to the shape of the pencil. Then, hold the tissue paper to make sure it doesn’t fall off, turn the pencil upside down,, tissue paper side down, and dip it into the glue,. Stick it in place on the paper, and lift up the pencil! Hopefully that makes sense, it’s kind of hard to explain in words. As always, great vlog!😊
One of my kids went home last week and said she was going to Sweden tomorrow to her mom. She said her mom said she didn’t get a permission slip for that 😆
