In all honesty, Angela (and Wolf Pack), you really want the dedicated coverstitch and a separate serger. The time it takes to convert a combination machine from one mode to the other takes time and is inefficient and, in my experience, my dedicated Brother double cover stitch machine does a much better job than the combo-machine I have.
No sé inglés. Pero gracias por tu explicación te entiendo no por lo que hablas...pero una señora me deja usar sus maquinas... Y aprendo con solo ver... Espero algún día tenga esa recubridora y over... Gracias.. sigue enseñandonos
Angela, you use comershial sewing machines a lot of us have the domestic brother. I have the 1034dx serger and the 23coverstitch machine. Are they threaded the same? The sreger and the comershial serger and the coverstich and the comershial coverstitch? The Brother.) Thank you .for showing me how to use my coverstitch machine.
Love my Brother coverstitch CV3550 it is great for the top decorative top stitch Or double as you call it . 💕my instruction manual just says to pull and cut like you do on a serger , no mention of pulling the 2 threads forward . Now I’m curious.
Watching the replay. Still need needle advice for the double cover stitch dealer saids special coverstitch needles and manual saids regular sewing needle.
