I would love to see more of his work. I’m a carpenter and fabricator so I love seeing what materials a equipment others use. Especially the old fashioned ones.
Cheers. Kahikatea is white pine, it's quite a bit different. Soft wood that's good for furniture building as it has a long running grain, but won't last outdoors. Manoao is the Maori name for silver pine. Makes great fenceposts and lasts well in fresh water. Years ago the Nelson city council used it to build a wharf thinking it lasted well in salt water because of its fresh water longevity. But the sea worms attacked it and it rotted away in a manner of months. Expensive cock up that one
What do ya reckon on a electric motor to take you the last mile or so, then you'd come in real silently. Get one of the most powerful ones to push you along and because you'd only be using it for a short time frame a medium sized battery would be perfect. It's great to see you uploading to youtube again, missed your hunting and fishing missions. Dans shed is a beauty, it must be thunderous inside the old shed with that old diesel powering the tools is awesome, twin cylinder pumping away. Is it an old Lister? Great stuff as always
@@astondriver I'm talking about doing the last mile or so silently with electric, I'm not talking about doing the entire trip with electric. Just the last mile or 2 so you enter the hunting area as quiet as possible. You don't need 50 kg of batteries for that
Close but no cigar, tane kaha is the one with the aromatic leaves, used for treating diarrhea and as a liver tonic, also use the bark as a die. Celery pine is the European name for it. Can also make bows of it but hard to find a length that's knot free. Cheer!
If we pay the beer bottle subscription on patreon can we watch all videos that have been uploaded and with that subscription can we only watch Josh's videos or can we watch others? I hope someone reads this and can help lol
