Hi bud, love the channel, I'm devouring all your videos. I've just finished my boilermaker cert 3 here in Australia but don't have shutdown experience. I can weld, cut, grind, etc the general activities related to the trade. Do you recommend me to go ahead for these type of work? Cheers bro
Hi Mateo, Thanks for the great feedback mate. Really appreciated. First of all a big congratulations on completing your trade certification. 1st step is to sit down by yourself and treat yourself to your favorites (beer perhaps) on a great achievement of obtaining a trade certificate. Now do I recommend you going ahead for this type of work well there are a whole set of questions to be answered first to better understand where you want to go and why? Like how old are you? What do you want to do in life? Do you want to join a fifolifestyle and why? And if so do you know the positives and the negatives around this life? Do you even want to join a fifolifestyle or a different lifestyle? etc etc etc Just needs abit more clarity.
How you finding the restrictions on these sites bro ? Having many test's done ? Our roster has change for awhile to 2 & 2 (instead of 1 & 1 ) and the 2 & 1's have gone to 4 & 2 so they are finding harder as most of them are new to underground fifo life.
Hey Steve. Thanks for reaching out. Its a bit all over the shop at the moment but I always just put one foot in front of the other taking one step at a time. Definitely interesting times for the industry but positivity and pursurverence to your goals is the key to winning in the industry. What about yourself how are you pulling?
@@fifoinspo Yea mate, I'm cruising, Been mining 40 years and FIFO for the last 20 but I see changers in the young fellows been stuck at work then stuck at home when on R & R. Restrictions are starting to lift so like coming out from underground "there is a light at the end of the tunnel" Stay safe.

@@stevejones4292 good on you mate for doing your channel. Yes please let me know. Its easy said then done but. Consistency is pretty hard to do as you may know the fast faced industry can make or break you. Just have fun with it. I personally do not only to show people what a fifo lifestyle is all about but also self development as you can always reflect back on documented content. So yeah all the best with the channel. 👍🏾
