Kyle, that was a great project and learned so much about bringing a griddle back to life, you should do more of these as you have projects around the house, Amanda can do interior and you could do the outside work!

We love Aldi! So excited that a new one just opened 45 minutes from us (that's close when you're in rural iowa.lol) I always forget my bags too, but now when I know we're going, I put a couple laundry baskets in the van instead. It's SO much faster! I don't have to stand at the counter, loading everything in bags. I take the cart out and everything goes in the baskets (except raw meat, it goes in a cooler bag). Hubby said it's so much easier bringing everything in that way too!

Enjoyed watching the Vlog the drone footage was awesome. The Blackstone bbq came out great Kyle a job well done! Amanda when you go to Aldi try the Frut water it is soo good it’s bottled flavoured drinking water no sugar I think you all would love it!

We live in Oregon but we did go do a job in Snowflake and Stafford Arizona. We were there about 11/2 years we loved it in Snowflake not to hot and not to cold.

I'm catching up finally. I'm excited we have Aldi. I like getting a cart for a quarter. I always have bags because it's hot and your groceries melt fast. Sams club and Cost have to insulated bag we leave in the car. Aldi...reminds me of home, WI.

Missy, it’s really dusty here actually! Idk if it would help or worsen your allergies. Mine are horrid and I have been here my whole life. It’s pretty though and most times its a pretty dry heat except during the monsoon season.

Hi Amanda and family! :) In most of Europe (I believe), you need to "pay" for carts, and nowadays (I guess due to EU regulations) it is common to pay for the bags to lessen the environmental impact. We have Aldi like 5 min from us, but we live in Germany (tho we prefer other DE store Rewe :D)

Hey Neighbor, thats correct, here in the Netherlands you have to pay for your cart as wel. But when there is no pandamic, I drive to Germany to go to the Geman Aldi because they have more products it's like 20 minutes from here 😁

Awesome job on the griddle :) Yeah, we know about heat here too, ours is just always mixed with a ton of HUMIDITY! Do not know if it is that way there or more of a "dry heat"? Love Aldi too...with a family of 8, we try to get all we can from there, Walmart, or Sams...we have 8 cats in our home (& 1 dog too), & more cats outdoors, so loved hearing the MEOWS! Aildi's has high quality stuff cheap. Not a fan of their canned vegetables you can taste dirt IMO having grown up on a farm and doing our own canning. Cheese has too much oil IMO. Can't go wrong with frozen vegetables. Pack of broccoli florets is $1.25 here, eggs $.95 and milk is typically $2.25 a gallon. Aldi's find are so much fun. I have gotten pizza stone, hanging basket stand and multiple drawer organizer for my sewing room.

I love Aldis♡ I save hundreds of dollars a month going there. Fresh fruit & veggies plus some house items & toys. Some good finds. I miss AZ so ty for the view♡Luke Air Force base in Glendale is where I lived.The mountains,palm trees,cactus,orange trees,monsoon season,the jets..I miss it all

It would be Sooo nice if you could make your Menu Board Meals of the Week a regular thing. We all need the inspiration I'm sure. Your meals sound delicious for this week too!! Absolutely LOVE your new pantry just finished watching. You did your decor magic again, it certainly made a big difference, you brought it-to-date and got the most out of the space; you did all that and managed to make it super pretty too. I hope you & the family are still enjoying AZ despite the heat. It's fantastic that you have the outdoor space & pool. It's still an adjustment when you're out & about to see the AZ landscape. I wish all stores required a quarter to get and return a cart. I live in Southern California and one use plastic bags have been banned in CA for a while. I shop at Smart & Final Extra, which advertises themselves as a warehouse + grocery store. I have to bring my own bags or pay 10 cents for each of their reusable plastic bags.

I love Aldi! I remember not having a quarter and the cashier did not want to give me change and felt so embarrassed… now when I shop there I take a quarter and leave it there for the next person who might me in my situation. I visit the place maybe once a month or maybe once every two months. For the griddle… I fell down the tik tok rabbit hole and ordered the pink stuff cleaner 😅😂 supposedly the stuff works wonders (as a cleaner) 🤷🏻‍♀️

I live in California. And so love AZ. I have family in the Phoenix Area and Tucson Area. I love visiting. My cousin installed misters in her back patio it really is a good cooling off tool.

❤ Arizona. Such a beautiful state and breathtaking sunsets. Lived here all my life, used to the heart and enjoy the Monsoon season. We don't have an Aldi's here in Tucson. Closes is Chandler I believe.

Hi, I love your videos so much! I wonder if the reason you pay a quarter for the cart at Aldi is because Aldi is a German company (I'm from Germany myself) and here you have to put I coins for the carts at pretty much every chain of grocery stores, also most hardware stores, basically any time carts are stored outside. Just a fun fact. :)

So fun that you mentioned the shopping cart and shopping bags facts about Aldi. This is the standard in Germany. Since Aldi ist german they just didnt change it for the us. ☺️
