Congrats on the job, a good fit for you. The cross body bag came out lovely. I've lined the strap on various crochet bags I've made to stop the stretch.
I could line the strap. I did consider using webbing instead of crochet but it would have been trickier to sew on. If it shows signs of getting too long I'll sew something along the back. 😀
