Your layout. In my opinion no need for a guest bathroom unless u mean a guest toilet but in my view. The laundry and existing wc can be converted into a pantry and scullery area. The kitchen can then be linear and have a Long Island with the dining next to it. Makes no sense in my view to place the dining where u wanted to place it because of the ergonomics of when u cook and serve. But yeah a guest toilet would be needed

I’m so with you, on not having appliances on the the countertop 😂😂😂 yeah no it just makes it cluttered, especially if your space is small

SMEG kettle is not worth it,I didn’t buy it because family members have and the name chips off,and the opening lid always is an issue after a year or so, the sad part is that SMEG has a wide range and you can match all your small appliances 😢

What're you studying?

Smeg is overrated , pricey, and unnecessary. A R150 kettle can do the same thing that a smeg kettle can do (they both boil water and you won't knoe what water was boiled in a smeg or a cheap kettle). Just get one that fits your soace and the colour you want, the brand doesn't matter at all and also get one that you can hide away under drawers coz you said you don't want it on the counter, problem solved. ❤
