Finally answering all the commonly asked questions about New York Presbyterian - Columbia Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program! I take you on my daily life starting at this dental residency and give you a tour of the 5th floor and 8th floor of Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. Hello Georgio! So we all take implantology courses taught by world renowned dr. Tarnow - I believe second year residents have the chance to place implants but let me get back to you on that!

Should Canadian dentist works under AEGD in New York apply J1 or TN or H1B visa? Which form/documents should receive from university in order to apply this visa? Usually it is ok to get visa at border? Will appreciate your reply. Thank you very much

Sorry for the late reply! I would not know as I'm not a Canadian who went through this steps! Some don't mind going through a year or two through AEGD as NY state requires at least 1 year of dental residency to practice or many more years of experience outside of the state. Not sure for the foreign dentists though! I would double check
