yep we are the fellow cardigan corgi! a different corgi breed from the more common Pembroke corgi (orange).

Totle def ignores us at 5mo too- it's not until close to 1yr he suddenly has some recalls. We take him to dog park very early tho as soon as vaccine allows it, and use chances like him back for water to leash him so we can leave :)

The park we bring him to is not big and all fenced so easier to spot him I guess that makes us more comfortable putting him there at early age

They're Welsh. I am in my 5th Corgi First one was a red I raised her as a puppy. 3 rescues with health problems Ioved them and care for them until they went to the Rainbow. 2 reds,I tricolor and one fable now I have a healthy rescue a black and she loves to bark and comes when she feels like it. The 5 have been Pembrokes.They are very smart dogs.

@@rowenaharvey9567 yeah he's over 7 months now and knows his name. We still haven't taken him off the leash at the dog park. Are you in California? We plan on getting another when he's 3 years old
