@@janetbrowning9089 hi Janet, I am fully recovered but my husband still has pneumonia. He is doing much better today, thank you! I'm sorry your dealing with pneumonia, I had it 2 years ago, not fun for sure! I hope you feel better soon! ♥️😊
@@janetbrowning9089 I'm so glad your doing well! Never hesitate when it comes to your health, especially if you can't breathe! There are so many different sicknesses going around, it's hard to stay healthy!
My girlfriend in high schools mom was Korean and she would make kimchi and put it in jars and bury it in her back yard. It was so spicy, so wouldn’t eat it . I can’t handle any spice. She would always say but it’s so good!
It is fun eating international cuisine! I so enjoy watching your meal prep. It gives me great ideas!!! I live in Washington State, Seattle in the USA. We are so lucky to have a very diverse ethnic population here. That means every kind of food is available! Sadly, I can't eat Kimche. It is fermented and difficult for me. Thank you for a really lovely video!🩷🫖🥮
Thank you so much for a wonderful new video! 🥰 My husband liked my attempts in Japanese cooking so much that he presented me with a beautiful Japanese cookbook for our wedding anniversary. It's really great - but now I have to buy some more ingredients from the Japanese supermarket. 😇 He also bought me "Japanese from Zero", which is a Japanese language course. It starts with counting - and so I used your shopping trips (all the prices) to practise my Japanese counting! 😄
I'm going to live in Japan for a while soon, and I have been watching your videos to get an idea on how are Japanese supermarkets and what is the price of grocery shopping. It's actually so helpful! Thank you for showing such a detailed inside look :)
Another lovely video. Thank you for making them for us Linna. So many of us enjoy watching. Your videos are so well made! I love the fact that you are taking care of yourself too. You are important to so many people! Sending much love from Dixie. 💕
I grown up in Malaysia, a multicultural country with a roots from China. I speak English, Chinese and Malay before I come to Japan. And now I also speak Japanese 😀
Thanks you for the video! So many cute snacks! I love watching your video! Thanks for the subtitles and the work you put into your channels!! 💛💛💛💛 I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
I am a new follower and I just have to tell you, I very much enjoy your videos 👍I find them so calming and enjoyable! And you are correct, all mom’s really need to take some time everyday for themselves, I struggle with this, since I am so busy taking care of my husband and 5 children! I am trying hard to find a balance, wish me luck! Thanks for giving me hope, that it is possible 😊
Have just discovered your videos. Thank you for filming while shopping. It’s so interesting to see I think. Love the way you present your cooking. Your video is very interesting, calming, informative and simply delightful. Thank you for sharing your life with us. May you always be blessed with good health, happiness and an abundance of love. Mary from Michigan USA
Thanks Linna, as always. I have ordered kanji N5 book on your recommendation rather than the hirigana or katakana. Got some quiet time coming up so will study hard! Arigatou ♥️🤩♥️
@@LinnainJapan been learning for a few months but didn't like the platform I was using, that's when I asked about hiragana/katakana and you mentioned mostly kanji. The book is here and it has some hira/katakana in it so I can keep learning that If I choose but also can concentrate on the kanji side. Starting again next week when I have house to myself and I can concentrate properly 😆
I'm just doing the same as u linna have just come in and feet up for a wee while with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit ah just heats u up cause it's cold over r in northern Ireland were I live xx
Hello, I just love your videos I watch them all the time. If I can't find cooking saki what would you think would be a good substitute? Also, I have never had Kimchi before, is it spicy? Thank you for sharing your videos. Take care.
Sorry for my late reply, perhaps you can substitute with a little of white wine in term of removing smell via evaporation. But really the flavor is quite different so perhaps just substitute half… Kimchi is a little bit spicy but for me the UMAMI is stronger
@@LinnainJapan Thank you for the reply. I just realized that I check on Amazon and see if I can order it order online. I would like to have the right flavor if possible if not I know what to use in replacement. I really want to enjoy some of your recipes with the same ingredients for sure. Thanks for sharing and I will let you know what recipe I use and let you know how it comes out. So keep them coming your have great recipes ideas and great videos that I will keep watching and supporting your channel. Take care to you and your family.
Hiya Linna! I recently got a rice cooker, it's small but that's all I really need. Why didn't anyone tell me how handy a rice cooker is? 😲 It came with a little pan with holes in it to cook meat, but I'm a bit worried on using the little pan to cook meat because I'm worried it won't cook the meat right. I've gotten sick from that before which is the reason for my hesitation. Thought I would share that with you because you are one of my inspirations to get one. 😊 Edit: Might try to cook shrimp in it as a test because you can easily see if shrimp is cooked or not. 🤔Any thoughts?
Oh I am exciting for you! I love getting new kitchen toys as I like to call them ! I can understand your excitement 🎶🎶🎶 I hope you have fun with it! 🤗🤩 I can’t tell because I don’t know your brand and the powder of your rice cooker.
@@anonnymouz6826 I live in America and usually here people will literally try to eat anything even if it's not edible. I value my health and life so I want to learn how to use it properly.
