Im a hoodie person I am cold in 80°f weather plus i find they help alot with sensory overload kinda like the blinders on a race horse they limit peripheral vision which goes a long way in preventing a meltdown
I would love to see you explain more in depth how the cash system works for you. For drive-thrus, gas, and groceries I can get it, but for bills and other online only payments/bills is where it seems like a “waste of time” but I can tell it works very well for people so I’m always wanting to try it but worried I’ll give up because it’s a “waste of time” ya know?
I like visuals and so even for online payments I like to put that cash into my envelopes so I SEE that I have my bills accounted for. A day before my auto bills I get a text saying they’re going to get pulled, so that’s when I deposit that bill money into a SEPARATE account that’s different than where I receive my direct deposits, that my auto pays are linked to. I personally do this because the visual of having that money allocated for a specific bill makes it less tempting to use the “extra cash” I have on hand on something it shouldn’t be used for. I don’t want large amounts of money sitting in my checking that could make it seem like I have the money for something when I don’t. I don’t want to get swipe happy and swipe for something and then forget that it was actually for ____bill. You can use this system however you want and however makes the most sense to YOU. this helps us stay organized and accountable to our spending & helps with ADHD brains thinking we have money to spend when we really don’t. Hope that helps!
Great video! New subscriber. I also cash stuff and it makes it so much easier on me because I am a visual person, seeing the money in my envelope shows that it is fully funded. This is the first time seeing someone in a bus budgeting. My family and I live in a RV, I was starting to think that we were the only ones 😂.
Aahhh no way!! So cool, and heck yeah - you’re not the only one hahah. I LOVE the cash system for us. I’ve been budgeting this way since college in 2018. 10/10!!
Curious why she answers all the other comments on here but won’t answer how she uses the cash for online payments. Genuinely curious how it all works! EVERYTHING is practically online &/or cashless nowadays.
Dang 😂 a girl can’t take 24 hours to respond?! I was planning on making a follow up video explaining more but here you go. Part of me thinks this is money laundering but other part makes me thing she is budgeting. Its not common to have money in an envelope or binder unless your saving up for a emergency fund or etc.
Common for who? You? Probably not. For other people? Yes. This method is highly common. A simple Google search would show you who started it, why it’s helpful, and who used the system & why 🙃 Crazy that I have cash & you assume money laundering lol.
