Tomoa gets covid and thinks people will stop supporting him. 🤣 Bro, thats not how it works. You’ll get them next time, i have full faith. Keep on crushing 💪
it's always so exciting when your channel posts a new video! I especially loved the behind-the-scenes stuff with Ikedai in speed climbing because we don't see it often. Tomoa, we were sad you got Covid, but your determination and work ethic are so inspiring! Thank you for continuing to compete and share your experience despite the setbacks. The English subs improve with each video. thank you guys for making videos accessible to people who don't speak Japanese! The filming, editing, and content are all top tier. I show your videos to my friends who who have never climbed because the videos are fun and educational. Then they are excited when I make them climb with me.
Hi Tomoa I'm sorry that the competitions in Salt Lake City were not a good experience for you. I know you will come back stronger! Ikedai, wishing you all the best for the rest of the speed season! I was happy to be able to watch you all compete in Salt Lake City! Thank you for this update ☺️
2nd place overall in world cups for the season despite missing a competition due to COVID: I'd say that's pretty good! I hope you come back strong at the combined and world championship Tomoa!
don't be too hard on yourselves!! always learn more from failure than success, you'll do amazing in the next competitions. hope you have recovered and feel better now tomoa!
Do you all get recognized a lot at the American Climbing gyms! I would definitely recognize you and would fan girl over Akiyo. As an older climber myself, I was always inspired by her!
Awesome coverage of life on the road for competitions. Something I think a lot of people don't get to see. The practice sessions, competition day, hanging out and performance review was all a great idea to cover. 👍👍
Was that a crack on M1 on semifinals? I love cracks, and I think they are obligatory for every climber/ boulderer to know how to hand, finger, fist jam! I thought after Meiringen '19 everyone would dail in the technique! While comp style is different and equally exciting as outdoor bouldering, it's important (imo) to have the same knowledge of techniques! Please take this criticism from someone who always cheers for you! Gambare! P.s. you crash it this year! Amazing performance! 🤟
I love watching your videos! Thank you for posting this vlog during the busy competition season! It’s really interesting to watch behind the scenes footage of the competition😄 It’s such a pity that Tomoa fell sick but don’t feel too down! Hope you are recovered & in good condition now🥰 We’ll always support you, Gambette!
Another great video from TAMY 😍 We really missed you, Tomoa, at the second comp. I hope you are feeling better and are suffering no negative effects from the virus. Regardless of this let down, we are still insanely impressed with your performance. Ikedai, I have faith in you! Your gonna make a final soon, I can tell. Keep crushing 🫶
Keep up the spirits Tomoa & Ikedai!! Good advice from the great Akiyo to take lessons from every competition, no matter the result. Thanks for giving us a look into the life of a WC climber. 頑張って
Last interview I read from her in the Spring it seemed she wasn't sure if she'd be able to with college. But it would be nice if she did at least one world cup this year.
Thanks for the video, always a pleasure ! Damn, Covid hit again... Don't be too hard on yourself, you work hard, you are an awesome athlete, that's life, you can control it, it happen, that's it nothing more, nothing less, don't apologize for something you can't control! You will came stronger on the next one! All of you are amazing performer and quite generous with all of these video, Many thanks for that!
Ikedai, you did right man !!! It was an amazing performance even if you didn't qualify, don't give up ! Do like in animes, you need to persist and keep training hard !
Thank you for showing us how the preparation before competition is exactly on the day of competition. If it’s possible we would like see more!!!! Thank you!
Great video as always. Hopefully you will return at 150% of your strength Tomoa-san ! We are waiting to see Ikedai-san reach under 6 during a comp, I'm sure it will be soon. Thanks for the subtitles !
