Dear Mariana, everything looked delicious and the music was great. :) A couple of years ago, I lived in the tiniest apartment you can imagine (something like a tiny house) and decided to throw a birthday party for around 10 friends which was ambitious to say the least. I made food platters, bought drinks and made a playlist, and since the place was so tiny, I ended up putting throw pillows on the floor because the sofa and chairs were not enough. I was afraid my guests would not not have a good time because of it, but we ended up hanging out on the porch for the first part of the night and later went to a nearby club that had some kind of 80's party going on. We all ended up having a blast as we danced for hours. To my surprise, some of my friends even returned home with me, we kind of squeezed in, wrapped ourselves in blankets and just talked for a long time. In my opinion, it ended up being one of the best birthday parties despite such a limited space. :)

You are such a thoughtful hostess. I've been at parties with no music 😏 It had a very dry atmosphere, just people talking or laughing, I found it quite lacking. So yes, great music to me is essential.

Everything looked wonderful......one tip I have is, if there are lots of platters going out.....I actually draw a picture of the table and sketch in where I will put what. I do this just so I save not thinking about where to put what. I also, like to have a fun game tucked away in my head that we can play just in case things get quiet.

Fabulous idea! I sometimes like arranging platters and serving utensils in the morning, so I have an idea of the space and see if I need to use auxiliary tables or different heights…

Hi Karla! I’m glad you like the videos! Actually, my last name was changed when my grandfather arrived in my home country Brazil. It was originally Zeleanu, from the Moldavia/Romania region. A little confusing, but that’s my background 😊
