So I realized we were doing our main builds at the same time...I bought Jet Girl (name of my trailer-name the movie I got her name from!) early March 2021. Grabbed a pad and a sleeping bag and took her out that weekend. It was an addiction, planning and building...I couldn't wait for help either. The help I did get: Cory held the ladder while I cut my roof vent hole and held the bead board up for my ceiling while I drilled it into the metal ribs. AJ helped cut and file my pipes for my bunk beds. And my dad insisted on cutting some board on his table saw-which luckily no one got hurt. My friend Dallis kept the drinks flowing while I painted the interior-which Serena chose the paint color, Thunderstorm. My parents neighbors scored me on my ability to combine curse words into full sentences (and I wonder where my daughter gets it). I took Jet Girl on multiple trips during the build but I had a deadline of October 8th where me and my friend Heather were using her or sleeping in a tent. We had a blast but that was when I realized I'll be tweaking things through out our time together. The thing is-for each of those instances of help or time with friends-there is a physical mark or blemish that reminds me of that time with them. Some call them mess-ups - I call them memories. And there are plenty of memories of where I got to spend time for me doing what I wanted as well.

Just thinking, since you changed the wall style, from the “cabin” look to the gray, because of the flooring, after putting in the cabinets, bed etc…. how much of the floor are you really seeing once it is all done? 🤔

Tossing no shade, but you really needed a bud who had some building experience. Just started watching these older videos. Anything you'd change now since you got living experience in it? If you already did video of it I will find it someday.

5:42 'how?' well, you didn't flip your template when you transferred the design to the actual wall piece .. maybe you noticed while editing too.. But then again, weall know by now that itt turned out fine (found your channel the other day and decided to go back and watch from VLOG #1 :) )

I really wanted these panels for my van but they aren't available in the US. 😭
