Happy for you dude. As you were the one who inspired me to ride again (legally) and too, chose the XMAX. Got my license this May. I do hope that you choose not to keep your key in that compartment anymore. I keep my key on me at all times and when I'm off the bike, I lock out the front fork and lock the key. That way it can't communicate to the bike if I don't lock the fork, and they can't start it while in range. I appreciate the videos brother and everything you do for the community.
The problem with air tags is that it will alert thieves to there being one if they have an iPhone. Could be a deterrent, or could make them tear apart your bike trying to find it. I’ve really been impressed by the Monimoto alarms. If I just stand my bike up from the side stand to put on the center stand with it armed I get a call in 60 second my bike is moving. And it gives you live update tracking via satellite.
It’s refreshing to see some integrity w/people as it seems to be a lost art nowadays… My husband never had resolve or got his Kawasaki back. He saved for years, continues to work hard & got an upgrade! We’re so happy you got yours back & the other victims of the thefts too! Hopefully justice does its thing right. I loath thieves… 💯✌️💜
Glad to see your Xmax returned unharmed. I recently traded my 2022 Xmax in for a Honda NC750x. As much as I like the NC, I'm still missing the Xmax. I'm in Harford County MD by the way.
Glad your scoot is back with no damage. You and your scooter were in me and my wife's thoughts and prayers. God works in mysterious ways. I'll keep a good eye on my mini moto ( Honda xr150l ) from now on . I kinda wish I would have gotten the adv 160 twist and go but xr 150 is not to bad.
Great news, every once in a while, society redeems itself and proves there are still some good people ! Really glad you can get back to work on the xmax content! Also glad you can learn this valuable lesson, relatively cheap , not losing much time or money learning Id also like thank national geographic for the wildlife content lmao, seriously watch out, is deer season on roads!!
G'day Mate....sooo glad you got the Xmax back. I was feeling your pain. I got back into biking a few years ago and bought an Nmax....and it was stolen the first week I got it...replaced it and it was stolen as well... ..was soo mad lol :) I then upgraded to the Xmax and put some security measures in place and have been happy ever since. Love the Xmax!! glad your story ended so well. :)
They probably tailed you into the parking lot. I heard that's common. They'll see someone out riding around, follow them to see where they park, then get work when the person goes inside.
On the scooter theft ring I was some news videos on RU-vid about New York scooter crimes. People are mugging people and purse snatching from scooter like 3rd world countries in South America.
What happened to sporty scooter paint schemes? It's not required, but neither is buying a scooter. We expect a peak 1980's sportiness option in every scooter model and year. WTAF
