My heart. We're in Vancouver, BC and we had the worst air quality in the world for several days due the smoke from the fires down south. But all we could talk about was how we need to be grateful because our homes aren't burning down and our lives weren't in jeopardy. So happy your family/animals/home are okay. Climate change is so real, I agree. On the east coast we’ve been having so many tropical storms, they may not be full on hurricanes but the amount that are reported on the news every week is insane.

I live right near the Holiday Farm Fire here in Springfield. Blue River is gone but the campgrounds are still at the reservoir. I heard there's still fires burning underground and I can still smell the smoke in the air. It's almost December and the smell still lingers.

I live in East Germany and can't even begin to imagine how it must have been for you and your family.. Of course, due to our sandy grounds and lack of rain, we also have larger and more severe forest fires... But they are nowhere near as extreme as what you experienced. If something like that happened to me and my family I will definitely freak out, even though I live in a amazing city and amazing community that will help us even if they don’t know us but it’s still my house and the idea of losing it make me cry. You are so strong😭❤️

Hope you guys are safe. We had the same issue in Australia. There was a lack of information to say where the fire was when I had to evacuate my property. We were minutes away from losing our house and acreage. Sending you so much love

I am glad things were okay for your house and family. I know how scary this situation can be. My whole town had to evacuate when i was a little kid in 2002 because of a forest fire. I was evacuated for 2 weeks. The fire got within 1 mile of my house but it thankfully didn't burn down. Over 500 homes were burned in my town though and it affected so many people for many years after. My heart breaks for everyone going through that right now on the west coast but I'm thankful for everyone who has stepped up to help one another in such a scary time. This video made me cry but thanks for sharing. Stay safe and strong. 💚

I’m in Cali and we had a small fire where I live that burned the Independence trail. Sad stuff but also super scary. We have been in over a month of that air quality. We had a break the other day and it was glorious. I’m near the 3 lightning complexes in the bay, the north complex is about 40 min away, and the creek fire is south. This year is nuts! Prayers your way

I live next to a river and every 7-10 years there is a major flooding in my area. (actually mostly Germany is affected by that.) We have a bunch of horses and smaller animals as well. It has always been so stressful and devastating. And all of this does not compare to the danger of a fire bc even though it always made a big mess but we never had to face the danger of loosing everything all together. My thoughts are with all those suffering people on the west coast. :(

been there before. we live in fire country here in CA and evacuated at least 5 times luckily don't have the horses anymore but did these fires with horses. My sister lost her house. you can always rebuild but its not fun. sorry. we haven't started Santa Ana Winds yet this year so expecting fire season 2020 to be tough here again

Not only is the average wildfire season three and a half months longer than it was a few decades back, but the number of annual large fires in the West has tripled - burning six times as many acres. Climate change is here and it hurts.

Katie Mack I want tell you all what going on with China Peak Ski Resort the owner home is burnt down month ago. Year ago my very first home ever got burnt down by wildfire in Paradise California I saved one my Xbox One S. 6 PS4's is gone, 3 Xbox One S is gone, 8 big TV is gone, everything in little room and food area is burnt one thing still up is fireplace everything else is gone. I am back in house with my dad and little brother with dog and cat I was picking my things and my dad was helping me out with it now my things all over the place in my room.

I'm not really that much of a crier, but I'll admit that I cried a little watching this. my aunts and uncles were in the exact same situation in January when bushfires tore through the east coast of Australia, and its horrifying and disgusting to watch history repeat itself in another part of the world. Bruh imagine the wild animals, they can’t evacuate or go inside somewhere and try to get away from the smoke :(

If you want to help the environment stop eating meat. Animal agriculture is the second cause of climate change. Yes, vote but we need to do more than that. We all make decisions everyday that affects the planet for good or bad and we get to choose what kind of impact we want to do
