Barney looking in the mirror was just 🥰. You did the right thing speaking out . He must have done this before as the "dad" apologised . Personally a "keep your hands to yourself" is short, sweet and to the point. I've said this in the past. Nobody has any right to touch anyone . Hope you are OK, as it can be very invasive x

I am a retired psych RN 35 years. Good you spoke up. Very important for family to be aware. The behavior escalates. Hopefully they will seek professional help before a tragedy occurs. Your furniture is beautiful. Perfect for the area. All your charity shop finds great bargains. Great print and how I love the fragrances. Nice shirt dresses. Don’t get a bench - they are dreadful for sitting on long term don’t put chairs at the end they won’t tuck in - you can still have 8 chairs - if you wanted two extra stairs to store in the basement in case you ever have 10 people - you could just bring them up -

Firstly can I just say, well done freya for speaking up. You shouldn’t have to put up with that behaviour!! You have just done me a massive favour. I now have found the coffee table I’ve been searching for, I will be buying one from Still and Bloom. Just gorgeous!!👍I know what you mean about not quite believing it’s your kitchen……it’s taken me five months to accept mine is actually mine!😂 We too didn’t have Christmas last year due to the extension being built so like yourself I’ll be going all out this year…….can’t wait!😊

Personally I am not a fan of H & M but some lovely pieces. I like the way Barney takes part in your vlogs. Freya that is sexual assault has happened to me and my daughters on a few occasions! Speaking up or even shouting so everyone can hear is the best deterent other than calling the police. Most shops have cctv and would have seen the whole thing. You did the right thing and im so sorry you had to experience that 😢 x great haul by the way loving how everything is coming together and looking amazing xxx❤xxx

If you like flavoured syrups in your coffee or hot chocolate you could decant into those cute bottles and have it by your coffee machine (just a thought). Love the little glass bottles on the wooden rack (hope this is the right video as I’ve watched it in about 5 parts 😂). You could make your own little flavoured olive oils using chilli in one, rosemary, garlic etc Thanks for sharing your story about the man touching you. It happens far too often. I think stick with the chairs idea too. Benches aren't great for sitting on. Also I love the small little wooden table in the living area it looks lovely there. Well done for speaking up Freya. What I find odd is that the man he was with didn’t ask what you were accusing him of. He’d done it before! A couple of years ago I was in a large charity shop. This woman came and stood right up close to me even though there was loads of room. I moved and she did the same again but this time she was nodding to another man down the shop. I felt I was about to have my purse snatched so I swerved round and glared at her. She & the man she was with left the shop. I regret not saying something really loud but I wasn’t sure they spoke English. It was scary. I love all your new furniture & your charity shop finds were all amazing!

I think you should out some black chairs with that table, the room needs some more color. Something like the ones seen at IKEA and Wafair that are really popular with that color table. DoI also think some tall small round tables will look good next to the couch maybe something in a different color or metal to counteract the wood. Glad to see you stood up for yourself nothing wrong with saying something. Never be afraid to be loud. Everything looks beautiful 😊

I can’t believe that man’s behaviour. I was shocked when you said he was so young. They talk about consent/boundaries/personal space at school, my 18 yr old son asks his 14 yr old sisters permission for a hug. You did the right thing, I’d hope I’d do the same but may have been in shock. Love, love, love your kitchen decor. The shelf is perfect. The table is beautiful and as much as I like the look of a bench I’m not sure how practical they are if one person needs to get up. The bar stools are lovely although it’s a shame they block the view of your beautiful worktop. The furniture and various textures have really brought the room to life and made it feel homely. Totally understand your excitement after living in a mess for so long. Can’t wait to see more x

Think the drawing is perfect on your kitchen shelf, with your neutral palate green is a harmonizing color. When something smells/taste like dirt or someone's house is a bit dirty my boyfriend calls it 'organic' , nice way of putting it!

I’m not sure about chairs at the end of the table as they won’t tuck in plus the table will get in the way of people’s feet. I feel like the console looks a little bulky for the space but I love it and I’m not in the space to get true sense of space. Your home is like something out of a book. Many years of happiness in it. Agree chairs are better than a bench - sire backs & behinds and everyone has to move at once if someone needs out! Hi, I love seeing your home coming together! Can i make two suggestions? I would place the rug closer to the TV wall (but still a little bit under the couch). The large console table behind the couch makes it all too crowded in my opinion. I would try placing it on the wall where the mirror stands, and placing the mirror somewhere else in the house (or a different one on the console table)

No no bench I went for the most comfortable chairs I could find and afford I choose IKEA swivel chairs in grey the other colour was blue not what I was looking for would have been happier if the had more colour choice but comfort came First. I love them could sit for hours at the table we have a table that can seat 12 when extended but only went for 6 chairs extending the table would be for buffet meals I would have been mortified if that happened to me you were so right and brave to speak up! No never too long it's been a great vlog x

Have you thought of having old chapel chairs as dining chairs? You could easily fit four down each side & as they have relatively low backs they don't block your eye-line. I have made to measure cushions on mine & they are so comfortable i can sit on them for hours! You could get a couple of carvers for the ends bur have them back in the corners as accent chairs when your not hosting.
