Hey sis, so far the only “clubs” we have been to are ToyToy (which we love), and 4rizon, but we haven’t gone too many outside that. We do a lot of festivals and raves. Any suggestions for clubs to visit

Joburg is like any big city in the US, there are good and bad areas and one needs to be vigilant of his/her surroundings. I don't know why the safety issue is exaggerated when it comes to Joburg.

@@sbanda1909 house breakings, CBD danger and petty crimes probably happen more often than the US which is why they can afford to live in fenceless houses and actually go shop in their CBD/Downtown area. I love Joburg and yes, people exaggerate a lot but some things are true and we have to accept that.

@@TayllorChaniseno disrespect ma’am just the opinion of someone who’s spent years and years in the techno/house “scene”. If you love that music then you’ll find all the concepts and ideas of that music in traditional music from Africa. Check out some balafon/xylophone music from Burkina Faso or Mali and you’ll hear that modern synthesizers sound like a wooden instrument Africans have had for at least 1000 years now. By all means keep DJing but this is what I would tell myself if I could go back in time. Don’t waste your time in Africa and good luck
