Johhh😭🔥 This mirror is not eating, you can leave the wall without a mirror or something subtle, like thinner frame and arched. The square rug is stunning, it’s complementing the shades perfectly and it achieves exactly what you wanted i.e making the space look even bigger.
Yes I agree with you, let’s send the mirror upstairs to her office. Sometimes less is more! But I love the dining table and the size. It allows for walk around space and gives the impression of a spacious room, let’s admit that this new house isn’t as spacious as the previous one. & also it’s more functional I mean how often r they hosting dinner parties. Dining rooms can be feature rooms sometimes and this table makes the room more functional without swallowing space

The old dining table has glass and glass, which enhances the space and makes it look bigger . Please keep your timeless dining table. I do like the new one, but it makes the space look smaller. It will fit as a breakfast nook. Try putting books under the staircase to compliment the chair, for it to be a leisure/reading nook
I felt the same way about the couch. It could be used for leisure in a corner next to a window/glass door to watch sunrise and sunset or perhaps the rain😅 Just a cosy setting...

Choose the bigger rug makes the room more homey…but sis gugu the dining set is waaay too small and looks a bit lost…sorry for the comment…but maybe the same concept but a big bigger table cos round tables automatically makes the space bigger so the smaller it is the more waaay small it is…just a suggestion…love and light❤

I think a slightly bigger round rug would work better, because the smaller sized rug makes the space feel a bit too open, making it feel as if there are missing elements in the design. A bigger rug would just tie the space together nicely because there’s a bit of a disconnect in this space. That’s what I think, but all in all you have chosen nice pieces for your home, the table and chairs are stunning! 🔥😊🙈

I suggest you get a larger rectangular dining table (modern) paired with your classic style dining chairs will look really good🙂. You have enough space to make it more impactful like in your old home.
The rectangular rug looks better because it gives the illusion of the dining area being bigger than it is. No mirror is fine for now while you look for art work

Congratulations on new home, new business and new campaigns. On camera the dinning area looks big. But the furniture looks small. I am in America. Look up banquette seating. They have beautiful ideas for dining rooms. It is just a suggestion to help fill the space.
Add two more chairs around the table to fill up the space nicely. Keep the round rug, but it must be slightly bigger. You have a lot of dining space and you shouldn't use too many decor items or else it will feel cluttered. The house is looking amazing already
