A while a go you asked if anyone made pistachio syrup. I do! I have a little coffee shop and always have a homemade special each month. I made a brownsugar pistachio syrup by doing equal parts brown sugar and water and then chopping up a good amount of shelled pistachios. Simmer with your syrup base to infuse, strain, cool, and enjoy! It was amazing.
Genuine question, because I have followed you for so long: do you ever research the brands you purchase from? Their values/ethics/who supports them/values they support/who or what causes they give money to?
Ahh Michel!! I love this so much and you are such an inspiration to me. Thank you for always sharing what you get up to and being so consistent. I love seeing your day to day life and it’s so fun watching your videos. You are such a ray of sunshine and I can’t wait for more vlogs! Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
I really enjoyed your Q and A. I resonated with finding and being loved. It has been so long. Sharing your dreams helps me to do some creative thinking. Thank you for inspiring me. Good luck to Mom with couch hunting. Blessings
I hope everything works out with the engineer and architect! I understand there are steps before they get involved! Prayers 🙏 🙏 George the 4th sounds like a great name! Good to keep the name in the family! Lastly I could see you being a cafe’ owner Michel! That would be a dream! Glad Max is doing better! 🐕 ❤️
Thank you for the clothing links. Love the pullovers! The jewelry is really unique too. Your hair looks really cute. If that's what you did with the air-dried hair you were concerned about, it was a success!☺Thank you also for the Q&A....a very thoughtful vlog. And I love seeing more of Max in your vlogs...he loved that pupkin spice latte 😄. I absolutely agree with your advice for singles as well.
You should check out the Mercentile in Buda Texas. Super cute grocery store, has a drink bar, unique gifts, flowers & a lounge area. Buda is South of Austin & b4 Kyle where I live.
As much as everyone complaining about you doing sponsorships, I am so happy I get to support you through it! I’ve never bought lululemon but now I will! 🥰
Michel, you always open up your large back yard door How to you keep flys and mosquitoes out I know you’ve talked about some flys from your front window But if I leave the door open just to bring in groceries I have so many mosquitoes and flys What’s your tip
I love the deep milk chocolate colour. I would prefer it to be matte though on your nails as it's too distracting for me lol and as a sensory girlie myself I'd be looking and feeling my shiny 💅🏻 all day😅
I feel like the vidões need to walk back a bit and maybe step back and if it’s wholesome your going for it feel like more and more your missing the mark i feel like a lot of accounts i follow lately are maybe doing more spending and shopping and brand work maybe to make more from brand work as the views are changing so income needs to be subbed I understand that but the videos are getting less and less relatable.
California is great, but I bet within the next ten years you will have a baby and move near your Mom in Texas. The coffee shop/gift store is a great idea!
update: one of them did get deleted when, again, it was constructive. original post: I 'm not sure why you blocked me on Instagram for letting you know about a brand you were using in your vlog and some of their bad practices. I've never said things to hurt you and barely even said anything, period. So, that was both odd and extremely off-putting. I was going to say I liked your family recipe with the red lobster biscuit mix. Because it's a recipe. Most big names in food vlogs use test kitchen-style ways to put out their content. I know how exciting throwing things together and seeing how they turn out can be, but it's the fun part before you reveal something you put a lot of work into. I just think there's a disconnect between two things: one, you want to be wholesome, and humble and b. you wear Cezanne clothes (albeit under an apron) while cooking and what's worse is you're pleading for money during it. And it's defeating your own aims which is to be down-to-earth and wholesome. I was going to say this in a much more caring way, but I realized something when I saw you took me off your list: you don't want even the slightest bit of constructive criticism. and worse, it's CC coming from your fans. I think making accessible food from family recipes is the way to go. You can add your flair to make it pop so it's yours. Hopefully, I didn't come off too harsh. I just feel like I've felt for months about your vlogs: that you are mispronouncing words like the Zhoug sauce at Trader Joe's just to get the engagement from people who know how it's actually spelled. They'll tell you how it's actuallly spelled/pronounced, and your stats go up. I get the reasoning, but the feel overall is that it's disingenuous and the irony is that you want fans like myself to stay loyal, so that you'll get more contracts - and contracts you really want.. I feel let down. And sadly, now I know this will be deleted.
@@whitneyreynolds7457 not listening to loyal fans saying innocuous things is bizarre. And being hurt by that isn't wrong either. I feel let down by her.
I would have just said that I thought the family recipe worked better and went better with her branding. She obviously cares about the videos doing well and I thought it would help. I love cooking, too. But Michelin starred food and a high price point on things she wears makes it hard to not find ironiy in asking people for money. I don't have that money right now to give to her. I'd rather support organizations dealing with people in conflict. I like her, but she's not high on my list of things I can support right now . And she's not a newbie at this and a starving artist. Anyway, these ideas seem like constructive criticism and would hopefully help. I tried to say it to her directly, but apparently saying that a certain company she was working with treats their employees poorly, was enough to end the thread of like 3 comments. I've been watching for years. 3 comments isn't a lot and I've never been this direct/rude. I'm sorry if it does hurt her. I'm probably just too invested into it and you're right, I should stop following.
@@clairedavis5268 I’ve never heard her ask for money. This is her job; it’s a business. Sponsors are how she makes money. Again, if you don’t like it then just fast forward through the sponsored parts. It’s pretty simple.
@@whitneyreynolds7457 I've been avoiding the ads for a long time. What she said that bothered me was when she made the 5 in 10 vlog. She said something akin to "help me support my dreams." I get that her job is to monetize certain brands and that there are contracts that are binding. This vlog is her move into the culinary world so that she can get away from using her personal life as capital. understandable. That being said, she said, 'help support her dreams.' She was lamenting that Michel-impossible didn't work and It was a creative idea, so I get that it would hurt. But I think it's constructive to help figure out, especially from fans, maybe why that didn't work and find ways to make the transition work properly. There's a disconnect: she wants to be wholesome but also has needlessly luxurious kitchenware like an electric pepper grinder. So, make it more wholesome by meeting her audience where they're at. She's a nutritionist, so maybe she should focus on showing family recipes that one can integrate 30 veggies a week. etc etc etc. These aren't asshole comments. They're ideas I genuinely think might help. You disagree with trying to help make her dreams happen without buying things? I'm not saying I'm the only person who could be doing this. If she's the one saying the shows aren't landing via the stats, then getting feedback can help.
Ahhhh! Why does every video have to include you trying crap on?! Don't care about your clothes. Nothing to do with the title. It's so vain and the opposite of your wholesome content that I love so much.
