Hey! Fellow 1L here. Congratulations! I’m going into my third week and I’ve kinda got a rhythm going now lol. The first day I wanted to drop out but we’re here! A tip that has been working for me is splitting my readings. So for example, if it’s 20 pages due Wednesday, I do 10 on Mon, the other 10 on Tuesday. Same for other classes so it gives me my mind a break from reading so much. Remember that it does get easier and you will be able to starting foot along the year. You got this!💕

My first week of law school was long and ghetto but I know in due time everything will pay off. Try to take breaks and change your environment as much as you can. Idk about you but I can’t sit in the same spot reading for 9 hours straight 😅💀 You got this sister! ⚖️

I’m currently an inner city special education teacher but have decided to apply to law school to fix some of the many disparities in education that I just can’t control as a teacher. Bom dia, Leah! I have all respect for people like yourself that go to law school to become a lawyer - but I could not handle the long hours of reading because it would make me go crazy or drink more. I like you old videos because they show your progression from being very conservative to like get the “f” out of my way - I know my “s” now.
