It was hard but with friends and family, I got him to 22, thank Jesus he’s still here.🤣 You got this. Making moves for your kids is the best thing you can do. Welcome to Houston! I like in Houston as well and been here for 17 yrs; I’m originally from Michigan. In the beginning I was home sick too but I’m here to tell you, I got here when I was 25 yrs old and I’m currently 41… I had to leave once wen my mom got sick and came right back 7 months later! I say that to you’ll get used to it eventually and you’ll love it here, I do. I admire anyone that can leave home and survive on their own ❤ It hits different like you said… but you got this luv, I promise!

Hey hey hey!!! Just so u know u don’t have to go to church to get the word. U can stay home and read the Bible to your kids and or have Bible study with your kids and u read it by urself later. It wasn’t until some years ago my family and I joined a small church and they kicked us out because I wasn’t paying tithes and going every week. I’ve later learned that we are not suppose to pay tithes. I’ve also been doing Bible study in my home with me and my children. We’ve read the Bible from beginning to end twice and we read the book of Enoch. Going to church is actually the pastors understanding of the word but when u read it for urself it’s God giving u understanding when u ask him too. Please know that it’s taught that we are suppose to go to church but that’s not true. We can hear Gods word from in the privacy of our own home and we can praise God there as well. Jesus taught outside so don’t let this world consume u with the wrong thoughts.
